I want to like these guys but Ive emailed them more than once with questions. The only time I received a reply was a brief email asking that I call with my question. Ive called a total of 10 times now with not a single answered call at different times of the day/week. Left a voicemail with my contact information once but didn't bother to the rest of the times. I don't know these guys or have any ill will towards them but US truck driving school in fountain has picked up every time and answered all my questions immediately. Just took my CDL class b driven test today and let me say that my instructor hands down did a great job in making sure i was calm cool and collected. Made sure i was ready to take the test and tried to make me as comfortable as possible so that i could pass my test. I very much so appreciate the fact that time like that was taken. I would recommend this school to anyone who is serious about getting their CDL Class A! I completed the required 160hrs at another local school down in Fountain. I was unable to pass the test due to the sub par education I received at the other school. I decided I needed to look elsewhere, and I found Springs Truck Driving School. When I came to the school my confidence was low. After a couple of days, my confidence began to sky rocket! I actually went into my test confident of my abilities. This school is a JOKE!! Steve for one dose not get back till you for hours on end. I left him a message at 10:00 am and he disnt call me back till 5:36pm. The address for the drive test facility is not correct. Its in the Budwiser truck yard. Steve expects you to know the truck you drive like a mechanic! He failed me for not doing one break test out of the seven and i passed doing the exact same thing i did here at a DOT with a DOT employee. Dont go here they jist want your money. Read Less

I graduated in November of 2016 and really really enjoyed the hands-on training that I recieved with the trucks and trailers in the lot. You really get to feel how the truck responds to your inputs, you learn every little detail about pre and post trips, whats important and why it is important. I really enjoyed Clint and Steve, who were such a great help and answered any questions I had. It was a better-than-fantastic school and I'd honestly send anyone here because here, you... know the trucks by the time you're out. Another good thing is that you aren't stuck in one truck-you can bounce between the kenworth and the peterbilt(s) and learn the different layout of each truck, and get to know how each truck responds to your input. Basically, here you learn things you would probably have to get seriously good at in the real world of trucking. I have been trying to obtain my cdl for a few years, and after bad experiences with other schools recruiters I had given up. After speaking with Steve he made me feel comfortable about putting my trust in his school. I spoke with him for several weeks prior to making the commitment and each time made me feel more comfortable. As a recent graduate I found it easy to find employment with the knowledge I received from Steve and the lead instructor Clint. They don't cut corners or teach the bare minimum. First there are not enough words to praise the passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge that Steve and Clint possess. This school will give you all the tools and more you will need to obtain a CDL license and base knowledge of the trucking industry. We both feel we made a great choice going with this school, Springs Truck Driving School. The amount of "hands on" time is awesome! The instructors are calm and understanding of the challenges of learning so much so quickly. They do ...not apply undue pressure to perform, and continue to encourage us to slow down and take our time. When one method of teaching doesn't connect with a student, they change their approach, or switch up instructors to allow another perspective. This is the perfect school for those seeking to get there CDL for any class. I recently completed the Class A course. It was a lot of fun getting hand on experience driving an 18-wheeler. They teach you what you need to know to pass the test. Best part is there is no class room time, unless there is bad weather. Class days are mainly spent driving the truck and learning maneuvers.
