I forgot to write this review from when my son took his Drivers Ed a little while back. I'm looking at it for my daughter now and remembered how great this company was and is, and am sure I wouldn't feel more comfortable or satisfied with any other company than Freedom to teach my daughter the rules and safety of the road. I have twin boys and knew I wanted a solid driver's education program to get them going on the graduated driver program in Colorado.  I did quite a bit of research for programs in my area, as did a friend of mine for his son, and not knowing it we both chose Freedom Drivers Ed for the same reasons.  Comparing several schools, they all seemed pretty equal, but the final deciding factor for me was that Freedom Drivers Ed programs are designed by veteran law enforcement officers, with veteran police officers on staff.  I opted for their classroom and 6 hours BTW program for both of my boys.  It took them a couple of weekends to complete, but they were both extremely happy with the course, the instructors and both feel that they were more than prepared to take to the streets for their next step in the graduated license program.  They both have their permits now and have each logged some driving time with me so I have been able to see first hand what they learned in the course and help them apply that to real life driving.  It has also been very easy for them to register for their BTW sessions at times that work with our busy schedule.  I have also had a few opportunities to talk to Don, the owner he and has always been very prompt in returning calls or e-mails.  I would highly recommend Freedom Drivers Ed if you are looking for a 30 hour classroom Drivers Education program for your teen driver. Freedom Driver's Ed went above and beyond for me and my daughter.  My daughter was having problems with her vision that was not an issue in her life with anything other than driving.  She had her vision checked less than a year ago - but within that time one eye decreased by 3 powers - and affected her depth perception.  Through my emails with Don and the help of the instructors I had her vision rechecked and we found the disconnect.  Above and beyond what I would expect from a driving school!  Thank you! I take reviews seriously. ..and without hesitation I give Freedom five full stars. Not only are their training tactics top notch, their personal attention to each driver is outstanding. They don't look at these kids as numbers. ..but instead as young people whose lives are in their hands. They went above and beyond to help my daughter with a scheduling conflict that was my fault... that would have had her waiting more than a month to get her license after her birthday. I have a child who got their license at 15-1/2 so the required 30 hour classroom study course per the state was not necessary for them.  Now that my next child wanted to received their permit at 15 the nightmare began.  It started with confusion and frustration from the get go, the company was very disorganized and clear educated information was not given as far as what it entailed to get the permit once the class portion was over.  Online courses may not be the best way to get your required hours as it is a third party company who mails you the certificate it does not even come from freedom drivers!  This was NEVER disclosed, if it was we would of opted for the classes to get the certificate immediately after finishing the course, due to this lack of information my son had to wait a month to get his permit which took us of course with him wanting to drive before the new year his sophomore year, ok well you move on and live and learn it was a discouragement to him but we moved on, then 8, 9, 10 months go by and no contact or communication of any sort from Freedom drivers regarding the next step.!  I contacted them to find out what we needed to do next as we are still due a 6hr behind the wheel time then the test for driving.  I finally got a hold of the information and continued to wait it out.  When it came taking the test no email was sent regarding what is expected from the Dept. of rev. license Dept. as a courtesy but good thing I'm savvy enough to get it on my own.  The last straw was when my son took his test, he felt very uncomfortable and uneasy when the test was taking place as he felt as though the instructor was laughing at him when he kept stalling the vehicle out of nervousness.  (It was a standard) I couldn't believe that he would have any negative experience with a professional company who was referred to by the Dept. of revenue!  When I asked the owner about this situation he became very defensive and told me to find someone else to test my son!  Don't bother going here they are not concerned about your child and their success just the bottom line!
