My wife and daughter Sofia took the driving lessons and passed their driving exam with 4 weeks from beginning. Mr. M taught them safe and defensive driving skills needed to become a good and safe driver. He went through the skills they needed to work on more until I was able to ride with them safely. He answered questions they asked which helped clarify some confusion they had on driving steering, turning and rules. He helped them gain confidence in driving safely slowly but surely. I honestly thought that driving on freeways will be challenging, but after 2 hours freeway driving with Mr. M. they gain more confidence in ability to drive safely. My friend recommended Mr.M. to me and I took driving lesson. He was great and I did recommend him to other friend. She likes the way he was teaching her. I passed the test for first time. If you couldn't pass your driving test then don't waste your time, take driving lessons with him which will review "What to do on drive test" and "What not to do on test" in order to pass it. I've had my license for 3 years now with no infractions and I remember my driving lessons with Mr. M and how prepared and confident I was. I felt completely at ease when I took my driving test because I was given the best instruction. My first time driving couldn't have been better! Mr. M really understands the students. He is calm, collected and has made my first driving experience an amazing, low-stress experience. Unlike other instructors who usually yell and tell you how terrible you're doing, Mr M. keeps his cool, he tries to get to know you and only gives back positive feedback. I previously left a good review because this man would not stop HARASSING ME about giving him a review. But now let me start giving my honest review.After my first review, I was driven to the brink of psychosis. I was about to check myself into a mental hospital without the amount of times he said the same joke over and over again. My mom was in the car too and the amount of times I had to fake laugh just to get him to stop taking his jokes too far was insane.My second lesson was even worse. I went alone this time because my mom wasn't as paranoid about me dying. But, he took advantage of my very confrontational mom not being there. We drove to the Del Mar highlands where he was making a HUGE deal about me going in the freeway for the first time which made me very excited. But, before that, he had to take a bathroom break right! I had to wait for him for TWENTY MINUTES in the car by myself, reading these stupid papers that were just his way of fooling me into thinking that I was getting my money's worth (I'm not stupid). Then, I looked outside and I see him sipping on water and looking at his phone. What a joke. And then I proceeded to take the freeway after him making such a big deal about it for 30 seconds and then taking the next exit right out.My third lesson is where he made a huge deal about how "hard" the driving test was, essentially making up lies and calling the DMV people "blonde bitches" and trying to extort us out of our money by exaggerating everything. Luckily both me and my mom knew it was BS (She came this time after I told her he left me alone for that long). I also saw another comment about racism which I would like to add to. I remember one time specifically when I was driving next to a more older, battered car and he was talking about how there are crazy drivers everywhere and I have to stay alert. He then said "Look at that old mexican guy right there, he probably doesn't even have his license."PLEASE don't get this instructor. Im begging you. He constantly promotes himself and practically harasses you into writing a fake review because he can't get good reviews for himself. He also proceeded to text my parents after me not writing the review to write the review. Like take a chill pill oh my god. Super racist. Always has something nasty to say about other people, including other students. I paid about $500 into him scaring me away from driving even more.If you're Mexican, I highly recommend you find a better instructor. He'll talk down your race all day. Every time someone makes a driving mistake it's "see that stupid Mexican?" "Did you see how that freaking Mexican parked?"The car he teaches you in is very dirty as well. And you get short changed on driving time. If you pay for a 2 hour lesson he shows up late, sits there and talks and makes you read out loud from ghetto looking sheets he insists are legit for about an hour then he finally let's you go driving. I tried to teach my new student driver to drive, and it was not easy, and I realized I am not best person for this. So I called Premier Driving and they were willing to help us out...they took my student who had no real experience with driving and in six hours, she had enough behind the wheel experience that she passed her driving test ! She was so encouraging and secure that Mr. M. was patient and helped her to really understand what was necessary. I am thankful for his help, and willingness to accommodate her schedule! Mr. M. was calm and educational in what could have been a very stressful situation. Teaching first-time drivers how to navigate the crazy streets is a gift. His calm demeanor and a great sense of humor went a long way with my son. My son understands better how to apply the rules of the road thanks to Mr. M's thoughtful instruction. Mr M did a very good job on teaching my son all the basics at first, I really liked how he wasn't in a rush to make him drive before making sure my son knew all the safety procedures and reminding him all that was necessary. Mr. Mo taught 2 of my kids to drive. One was a reluctant driver that started the process when he was 18 and Mr. M was very kind, consistent and positive. It took quite a few sessions and Mr. M was always open to talk about what needed a little more work and when mastery had been achieved. After a nervous first attempt (and failure) at the driving test, Mr. M tutored again and he passed. My daughter is currently a student at 16 struggling to go as fast as possible.
