Awesome and well maintained machines.  This was a blast and well worth the money if you have ever wanted to check out open wheel dirt track driving.  They do not spend excess time on classroom and instead let you drive after a brief safety and operational overview.   Corey and his crew are experienced and super cool....nice and patient.  I spoke with Corey about racing at Angell Park in Sun Prairie Wisconsin and drivers we knew from that area. 1200 pounds and 500 horsepower, this is not your Moms mini-van and makes Nascar school seem like knitting school.  This racing school operates out of the infamous banked 1/5 mile dirt bullring of Ventura Raceway.  Growing up 20 years ago, ESPN used to televise races from this venue on Thursday nights. If you have ever done a Nascar type school, you have to try this.  There is not a restrictor on the sprint car or midget and you are in total control of the car. They have several price packages and keep an eye out for the Group-on deal they advertise, it will save you a couple hundred bucks.  If you have ever dreamt about doing a real race, the best part about this school is that you may have that opportunity.  After taking the 1 day or 2 day advanced class, if the instructor feels you are qualified or when you get too that point, you can sign up to rent one of these rocket ships and show up and race it on a Saturday night with a knowledgable crew provided.  Realistically not many of us have the funds, time, and knowledge to ever start up an entire raceteam....let alone the years it takes to figure out how the hell to set the car up.  This school gives you the perfect opportunity to cross it off your bucket list.  The instructor's name is Cory Kruseman, just google the guy, he is one of the best at what he does, and has top tuned equipment to work with and great support staff (or crew).  I did the all day experience and learned a ton about a non wing race car along with the fastest lines around Ventura track. Cory has a friendly down to earth personality and was great to work with. If your are ever in the area send the wife shopping or whale watching and spend an afternoon sliding sideways and throwing some dirt around, it's a blast. Read Less
