I have 2 older children of whom I used different driving schools.  I must say Formula One is by far the best I have experienced.  My youngest daughter was very nervous to start behind the wheel but came back super confident.  Which is great but what impressed me most was after each session Peter would walk her to the door and give us a report card.  What she did well and what we need to work on with her.  He asked if we had questions or concerns.  The other companies just drove off and my child would have to tell me the experience.   My daughter passed her test on the first attempt I believe in part it was his instruction and because we knew what to work on with her.  I would recommend this company over any other.  Thank you Peter we have knowledgeable and safer driver because of you. So glad that we chose Formula One Driving School. Peter was punctual, pleasant, and positive. My daughter reported that Peter was very helpful during the driving classes and really spent time helping her learn to drive. I believe his supportive and positive personality helped her to feel confident in her driving skills. There was never any yelling. I am very disappointed in Formula One Driving School. I was very excited when I scheduled my first appointment with Peter. I had read all the positive Yelp reviews which had motivated me to call and schedule an appointment. The main issue that I noticed was that Peter did not teach me the basics in our first lesson. Peter was constantly braking, and not letting me control the wheel myself. At times, Peter would yell at me or get angry when I made small errors. At more than one point, Peter drove the vehicle himself and did not even let me drive. Through the whole lesson, we only stuck to one small residential area. At the end of our first session, I felt like I did not learn anything or make any improvements. However, I thought I should give him another chance and scheduled another appointment after the first lesson. Peter then called me to let me know he was sick, and that he could not make it to our second appointment. Peter stated that he would call me to reschedule our appointment. After 3 weeks, I called Formula One myself, and did not receive a call back or any reply from the driving school. After my experience with Formula One, I realized that this driving school has unacceptable customer service, and behind the wheel training. Peter has only increased my anxiety, and has made driving very difficult for me.I am not sure how all these positive Yelp reviews came about, they are deceptive and misleading. Read Less

Best driving school out! I first started with sweet sisters and they were fine but it was pretty much just like practicing driving with a parent and they didn't give me any feedback at all. Formula one driving school gives you tips and tricks on concepts of driving that have really stayed with me. He taught me how to drive defensively and I felt super comfortable with driving after my lessons. He is super nice and makes you feel at-ease when driving. I had a blast when i started to drive with my driving instructor Peter. He is a very courteous person and he is very patient. Even though i already knew how to drive the basics, he taught me A LOT more then what I already knew. He took me through the mountains, and I have to say that it was really fun.
