This is an atrocious company. From the awful website to the impossible communication, miserable classes and unprofessional instruction, ABC driving has consistently been below my expectations of any driving school. First of all, the communication is very difficult to deal with. If you are trying to enroll in a class, schedule a driving time, or just find out about information, you will have to doggedly fight for any successful interaction, whether it be in person, on the phone or through email. The class itself, (a two week under 18 learning session) was miserable. To be fair, I've never taken classes from a different company, so I don't know the failings of this class in particular. However, by all means they could have done better. The class opens with an introduction to driving, and the next few days are very valuable. We follow along with the AAA driving textbook, and watch the videos, with occasional interruptions from the teacher, to add some grisly stories to put the instructions to life. These are always disgusting, a waste of time, and often sublty sexist. (The only people I've ever seen at ABC are men) We move on from that to spend many days watching horrific videos of drunk and distracted driving experiences, and to me these are essential for safety. However, by warned, they are a miserable few days. Then the class culminates in a "test" I use the word loosely because it is 50 basic questions with answers that the students spent an hour memorizing during class. No one failed, and I suspect no one ever has. I wish I could say to never use this company, but as they boldly state on their website, "we are the best and only driving school in Santa Fe" therefore, if you want to be educated in driving, there's no other choice.I'm so sorry.Good luck. I am a sixteen-year-old girl and I just took my driver's test for the first time and I passed! I find this driving school really nice. My instructor, Sukh, is a really nice lady, if you need to fix something she will tell you. She will also give you tips whenever possible, and they helped a lot for the test. She also talks to you and makes conversation so the two hour drive isn't boring at all. I recommend this driving school. Read Less

I took just one class one day before the driving test at Fremont, but I could tell by the way she was guiding me that she really has good driving teaching skills. Just for a little background, I got my permit in September and I already failed one time test in October ( After taking classes with another instructor). So this time I decided to take the test in Fremont, I booked appointment online and started practicing driving by myself in San Francisco. But before the test I just wanted to see the area so I went to the Fremont dmv with my friend on Sunday and wanted to take one class in weekday to make sure about the route. I could really tell the difference between my previous instructor and her. My previous instructor never taught me anything thoroughly, even after taking 6 lessons I barely knew the rules and was not confident as he was controlling the vehicle all the time (it's pretty evident by the test result as I failed the first time). Today I passed the test at Fremont dmv and although I just took 1 class with her so I would not say complete credit goes to her as I was already practicing in San Francisco, I highly recommend her for being patient, calm, giving the control and right feedback about driving. The areas pointed out by her never been addressed by anybody and I kept them in mind to make sure I pass. Read Less

This driving school has driven three of my daughters. Each of my daughters did not complain about their lesson each of my daughters were picked up on time the prices were very reasonable and I use the driving school to have the girls take their DMV test with saves me a bunch of trouble at a reasonable cost that is priceless and they all pass the test I highly recommend it don't expect too much just expect lessons to be taught Read Less

Not good communication !! Called for an appointment !! the person (suka) confirmed at 1pm . Then she said she will call at 12pm to confirm . She never called now iam trying to call but no answer from her ... bad business !!! please find some one who is reliable .. this company is not reliable ... First of all I would like to thank Sukhjee for been a calm instructor and helping me clear the test at the first go. She is one of the nicest human being along with the best instructor I have ever mate. They not only know the routes but also what the which instructor will take you where too. Overall the ABC driving school was good. The driving instructors are a married couple an the owners. they are both very calm and patient with you. They also really know how to keep up the conversation to make you feel really comfortable and relaxed while driving. Very very friendly people and they are very affordable compared to their competitors.  I was able to book my hours right after another so I got it done quickly. They always come right on time but will sometimes move your appointment ahead if you're not busy and someone else cancels. The only thing that I thought could use some improving was the instructions bc they didn't give too much of it.I passed on my first try but that was also due to practicing with my parents as well for a couple weeks. Not a very good experience.This instructor himself wasn't so bad. He can make you feel a lot calmer while you drive and will make conversation with you.HOWEVER, while the man arrived on time the first day, he did not arrive AT ALL the second or third day.Upon calling they postponed the dates,etc. but did not arrive AGAIN.Very disorganized business. If you decide to learn at ABC make sure to pay per class (it's $65 per class), and not all at once like I did. Read Less

I arranged my daughters first behind wheel as a surprise for her 16th Birthday I called 2 weeks in advance, and today at 330 was our appointment. So I just called and she was like Oh I forgot, I told her this was for my daughter birthday present she was like oh. I will never call them back ever. I don't have other driving schools to compare from since this was the only place I've had lessons with (which is why I give it 3 stars, not 2 stars because this is my only driving school experience)...but since I've failed twice already, I knew I needed to take "driving" lessons.Each lesson for about a hour is about $60. I paid with a check at the end of the lesson. I feel it's a bit pricey for the service I'm getting...but it's still one of the cheaper driving lessons.The training instructor basically chills next to you and let's you drive around the tested routes. He really don't give much input...but he was chill lol, but then he complained about giving him a check and not straight up cash which I personally thought was rude...it's like I'm still paying you...why do you have so much input -__-"I failed a third time, even with their help. Their "help" wasn't really all that insightful. Since they don't really give much tips.They do let you drive their car during the test and they take you to the test...but the car they provided me with is helllluh janky. I guess if you're in a desperate need to know what the tested routes are for the Fremont DMV tests, you can pay them for that...but other than the benefit of knowing the routes...I've gained nothing from this school. Was it cheap?  Yes.Did I pass my driving test on the first try?  Yes.Did I almost die during the driving school process?  Yes, indeed.So I was terrified to start driving.  My mom had illegally taken me out driving before my first driver's training classes so that I would get more comfortable behind the wheel.  That was the only thing that saved my life.My driver's training instructor just snacked the entire time we were driving and didn't assist at all.  I was on my own on the roads, freeways and turns.  It was terrifying.  One time, we actually stopped by my instructor's home so that she could pick up more food to snack on.
