We heard about Premiere Driving School from a Yelp Review written by a friend.  I have twins and so needed to schedule our lessons together.  Andrea was very helpful and anwered all our questions initially.  She explained the 3 lesson plans and timeline.  I set the first lesson with Richard and he arrived on time and was very helpful.  The girls loved his gentle unflappable manner and he was very good about giving us feedback on what to work on before the next lesson.  After our third lesson we went to our DMV tests on consecutive days and both girls passed!  Thank you Richard and thank you Premiere! Richard was very patient and was on time, but he missed emphasizing some key features which caused my daughter to lose some points during her test.  Michelle also gave me some bad advise on the choice of DMV's. They are bit overwhelmed because they are getting customers from Stanford driving school, which closed down, but I will not be using them again. Read Less

After a bad experience with Stanford Driving School which went bust in the midst of my son's training, Richard was a breath of fresh air. He was excellent to work with. My son enjoyed his instruction and did well in his DMV road test. I just loved that he gave my son a quick reminder course immediately before the test and stayed with him while he took the test and then drove my son home with his new license in tow. :) Read Less

Both of our kids learned to drive through Premier Driving School and they were able to successfully pass their driver's license exams on the first try.  Richard was the on the road instructor for both of them and he always gave us a clear and concise evaluation of the lesson and told us what they did well and what we should work on with them.  He used a Toyota Corolla and a Prius both of which looked to be safe and in excellent condition.  We called to set up the initial driving lessons and after that did everything by email, though Michelle called the kids and gave them 3-4 dates and times to pick from to schedule the next one.All in all it was a smooth and successful experience and we have recommended them to many of our friends. My daughter had Richard for her instructor.  He was very good and informative and taught good driving skills.  I had two older daughters at a different school.  Premier Driving School is definitely better.  Not all driving schools are the same.  My youngest son is ready to start driving too and we're definitely coming back! Premier Driving School is a great choice in learning and guiding you through the driver's licence process in CA.I got my license in October 2014, and while I was making use of their services, Richard was my instructor. He was a very patient and well-spoken teacher, and his methods were highly effective at picking up driving skills in the classes. As a parent, I am glad that my son signed up with Premier Driving to prepare him for the driving test.  My son took his time with the online driver's ed portion...passed on the first try.  Michelle was readily available via email...I found out email was better than calling the office.  She  was very helpful in scheduling and also explaining the whole process.For the driving portion, Richard was extremely patient and went out of his way to ensure that my son would pass the test.  Richard documented and gave pointers for improvement as well as giving my son more confidence in driving.  We paid for an extra session so he could be more comfortable with driving around the DMV area.  It was totally worth it.  I would highly recommend Premier Driving School for any teen who is learning to drive. I'll admit, they were hard to get a hold of at first. I texted, no answer, I called twice and it rang out to voicemail but then I emailed and got prompt replies from Michelle from then on. After speaking to her it seems they are very busy this time of year.After a nightmare of a driving lesson with another company where I had no idea what my instructor was saying as his accent was so thick, I was apprehensive.I opted for the adult behind the wheel package, three 2 hour lessons.I had my first lesson today and it was night and day from my prior experience! Richard was a great instructor, really calm and relaxed but also attentive and paying a lot of attention to what I was doing. He explained things well with diagrams and gave me lots of constructive criticism, and took notes on what I had to improve on.The lessons cost a lot more than the other company but I would say it is worth paying extra for. I'm a little embarrassed but I am an adult that came here from another country. I signed up with another driving school previously and spent over $350 and failed my dmv test, they didn't help me very much and basically said I couldn't do it. I was really discouraged but I tired another school, which was Premier, I was very skeptical at first but then realized that Michelle really cared about me passing.
