The other reviewers seemed to have had similar experiences to mine with this driving school. I booked 3 lessons for 295 bucks. The first problem was that Mr Hadi's instruction was difficult to understand. For example, his accent is difficult to understand  and when he gives instructions they are difficult to understand. Also, he keeps talking about religion and interrogates you about your family history while you are driving which I found a bit intrusive and unprofessional. Overall Melody driving school is cheap, so if you need the driving experience then it is great however, if you need to take the DMV driving test relatively soon then I would recommend you choose another instructor. I passed my behind-the-wheel test the first time, thanks to Melody Driving School, but I do agree with the other reviews saying that the instructor, Hadi, talks about religion a lot. He even asked me what my parents' religions were which is way too personal. I've also experienced him talking on his phone a lot. I have a few funny but unprofessional things he made me do when I had my driving lessons: He made me honk at one of his friends who happened to be in the same area as us while I was driving. Another would be him telling me to slow down when we passed by an accident. Both instances were against what the drivers' handbook says (well from what I believe).I had to run several errands for him like dropping/picking up his son from karate practice, which was really weird for me, considering that there was a child passenger in the backseat. And also, I had to drop off and pick up his sister from a market in San Francisco; I'm glad he took me to drive around San Francisco though or else I would have been more scared driving there now. I mean, I'm glad I passed my behind-the-wheel test the first time, but I could have experienced better driving lessons, if the instructor wasn't so unprofessional. If you can tolerate this (which I tried my best to), then I would say why not? It was a pretty reasonable price. Read Less

Both of them are correct. It was my first day. He taught me some good advise about somethings. Signaling and such, but.... I ended up running an errand for him. He talked on the phone A LOT, talked about religion a lot, kept changing the scheduled time sooner and sooner (called me at 10 to see if he could be there at 10:30), asked me to drive faster when I was going the speed limit (and would go over), told me to go when someone was crossing the street... Overall, if you can find someone better, do it. You want someone who will focus on YOU, not the phone. If there's two things you don't talk about with others it's politics and RELIGION. Read Less

Hadi is the worst driving instructor. He would have my son take him to his home so he could use the restroom for 20 minutes. My son sat in the car for 30 minutes while Hadi was in Costco shopping. My son went to pick up his child and run errands for him. He dropped off my son 25 minutes early from 1 of his 2 hour sessions. Half of the 3 lessons was my son sitting in the car waiting for Hadi. I would NEVER recommend Melodys Driving School to my worst enemy. Read Less
