Sensus Driving School is an excellent choice for behind the wheel training. Raul is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He allowed my husband to ride along on our daughters first lesson and my husband said even he learned a lot. Would highly recommend this company for teens and adults alike.

The instructor Raul is a very patient and kind person. At first when I got behind the wheel I was a bit scared but he slowly taught me how to drive and always gave me tips on how to drive better. I passed my test first try and the little lesson we had an hour before really helped out a lot.

Hire Raul. My son really didn't show an interest in driving when he turned 16, and my husband and I feared teaching him how to drive because he processes information a bit slow. But when he expressed to us that he wanted to start driving so he can get a job, we knew it was time for drivers training. I saw the great reviews on YELP for Sensus Driving School and decided to give them a try, hoping they would be patient, especially finding out my son has never been behind a wheel. Liz was so patient scheduling his lessons and Raul's training skills were beyond our expectations. Raul has an amazing amount of patience and there's a reassuring way he explains things that helps build confidence even in the most inexperienced driver. I can attest to that because Raul allows (and encourages) parents to sit in back and watch. It helped overcome my anxieties when I had my son practice in my car. We took as many lessons necessary until our son felt comfortable, understood the rules of the road, developed good habits and safe decisions. Raul prepped our son over and over for the behind the wheel test. Today was the big day, and he PASSED!! The smile on his face was priceless. If you're looking for a driving school, I highly recommend Sensus. Liz will schedule the lessons and customize the dates, if needed. If it's your first time behind the wheel, or you need a refresher course...call Liz and schedule lessons with Raul. You won't be disappointed and you'll feel confident, safe, and ready to take on the highways. It's the other drivers you have to look out for.

Had my "refresher" class today with Raul. I wanted to focus on freeway driving because, though I've been driving for 28 years, it's been about 8 years since I've lived in CA, and coming from NYC, the freeways made me more nervous than I'd ever experienced before.Raul was a total delight. Patient, calm and practical. He gave me some directly applicable tips and strategies, and I drove with him from Long Beach to Newport Beach, and back, and then up to Cerritos and back, 3 freeways in total (+ CA22), all with merging and lane changes. Before I got into the car with Raul, I was about 10-15% confident. After 2 hours driving with him, coaching and supporting, I feel I'm at 65-70% confidence level and definitely ready to go out there tomorrow. Starting with short trips to the mall first, but I see myself up to Los Angeles within the month. It's not just defensive driving he teaches, its logical, safe driving for the real world and the real roads of Southern California.I highly recommend Sensus - this is the absolute right school for all levels, for sure.

Before contacting Sensus Driving School I was terrified of driving. I had a very bad experience with the person who was previously teaching me and I didn't have confidence to get behind the wheel. I noticed that this place was having a deal for the summer so I thought I'd check it out. They will go and pick you up and drop you off at home. I'm glad I checked this place out because after just one session with Raul I felt way more confident and comfortable behind the wheel than I previously had. He gave me tips and pointers and now I am a much better driver. It was well worth the money I paid for the confidence I gained. Thank you Raul!

My daughter passed her DMV driving test with flying colors thanks to Raul (I'll take a tiny bit of credit :) )I went on the first lesson with her and Raul, and I learned so much too. I recommend that because we have learned quite a while ago and it's nice to hear and make sure we are enforcing correct technique. I love that I could pay as we went, she needed a bit more time between 2nd and 3rd lesson, so making our own schedule with him was awesome.Raul is incredibly patient, perceptive,and you never doubt his knowledge. He was always on time with her lessons and while she is a nervous teen, he was very soothing and encouraging. Don't even consider another driving school, this is top notch!!!

Just had our daughter's mandatory DMV training completed w/Sensus driving school. We were impressed w/the customer service from start to finish... I submitted an Internet quarry on a Saturday (they are closed weekends), and still got a call back from the owner to answer any questions, within about 30 min. Would use again, and highly recommend.

Raul and Liz are amazing! Great customer service all around. Amazing value, very accommodating with tricky schedules (our son goes to OCSA and so he has longer days than most) AND our son passed his behind the wheel on his first try and only missed three things! (2 of which were signaling TOO soon?!)Raul is so calm and supportive and encouraging. We highly recommend Sensus driving school!Teaching your baby to drive can be very stressful and you want to feel they have all the skills necessary to be on the road on their own. Do yourself a favor and let Raul and Sensus take a bit of that stress and worry by giving your teen the tools he/she needs to stay safe on the road.
