Jumpstart came with a referral from a friend. Max worked with our 16 year old son. Had him driving on the freeway in no time!
When we asked for extra lessons, though he said he wouldn't mind, but told us we didn't need them. Appreciated the honesty.
Paid for the Pre-DMV lesson and had my son take the test in their car. Totally worth it! Passed at DMV Santa Teresa the first time!

This is my first time writing a Yelp review. I took 6 hrs of driving instruction from Max. He is very skilled, patient and knowledgeable instructor. He gave me really helpful pointers for safe driving and took me for practice in various traffic conditions. Taught me how to back the vehicle in a straight line, parallel parking etc. I called him for some traffic rules clarification after our class, he was happy to help. Had a few rescheduling issues, but otherwise he was always on time, ready to help. I passed my behind the wheel test at Santa Clara DMV in the first attempt.( And I had very less experience.)Highly recommended.

Highly recommend.My wife took a 2 hour session for behind the wheel.Instructor was very professional, patient, followed a proper plan and covered almost all possible scenarios.

Max is the best driving instructor I had. I am not a teen driver but I did not know the first thing about driving a car, and Max was very patient with me from my first class. He taught me everything from the basics, upto driving on the freeway. My driving gets better with him after every class. Also, his class scheduling is very easy online, and he is always punctual (in fact he is 5 minutes early most of the times). I got my license in my first attempt itself today, and I can't thank Max enough for it. However, more than getting a license, practicing safe and confident driving was very important me, and I learned this from Max. If you want to learn safe driving, you have to learn it from Max.

I needed a qualified CA driver to accompany me to my behind the wheel test. I'm an expat and was already driving on a foreign license, with over 10 years of experience. Max gave me some great tips about the area I was taking the test in. I had looked at other local companies but Max was definitely the best. I would highly recommend him.

Max is amazing! Very patient and happy to answer emails with extra questions. He is very detail oriented and took me to a lot of areas to practice all possible test scenarios. Highly recommend!

Excellent instructor as the other reviewers have pointed. Just cleared my DMV test on first attempt! I've had a learners permit for 5+ years and never felt confident enough to attempt to drive before starting my sessions with Max 9(I took 3 sessions). He just helped take the edge off driving for me, no more debilitating jitters! Even on the way back from the test, he was coaching me on my problem areas. Another big plus, he focuses on good, sensible driving habits and not just on passing the test.

I found Jumpstart Driving school through Yelp. I had tried two different highly- rated driving schools before but they did not work for me. I was absolutely scared of driving before i met Max but within a couple of sessions with him, i was able to pass my DMV test on the first attempt. He not only focused on the test, but also made sure i become a good driver. He is an amazing instructor, very experienced and knowledgeable. He was extremely patient with all my queries and made sure that i understood the rules of the road to become a confident driver. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to drive.

Max is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet. I was not a new driver but I wanted a refresher class since I did not drive at all in the last few years. He took his time to explain all the rules. He identified which aspects I am not doing well and made me practice. He is not at all in a hurry, unlike what I heard from my friends about their instructors. I would definitely recommend him.

Brought my little cousin here for his driver training. The kid was terrified of driving before his training here. I forgot the instructors name, but he was very patient, explained everything from A to Z and prices were reasonable as well. The first experiences of a new driver are very important as those experience will impact their driving for the rest of their lives. These guys are on point. Highly recommend.

When we asked for extra lessons, though he said he wouldn't mind, but told us we didn't need them. Appreciated the honesty.

He gave me really helpful pointers for safe driving and took me for practice in various traffic conditions. Max is the best driving instructor I had. I am not a teen driver but I did not know the first thing about driving a car, and Max was very patient with me from my first class. He taught me everything from the basics, upto driving on the freeway. My driving gets better with him after every class. Also, his class scheduling is very easy online, and he is always punctual (in fact he is 5 minutes early most of the times). I got my license in my first attempt itself today, and I can't thank Max enough for it. However, more than getting a license, practicing safe and confident driving was very important me, and I learned this from Max. If you want to learn safe driving, you have to learn it from Max.

I forgot the instructors name, but he was very patient, explained everything from A to Z and prices were reasonable as well.
