I realized immediately after signing up for Alliance that I made a mistake. I could not navigate through their website to verify the class I signed up for. Then, within 5 minutes of signing up and realizing it was not the program I wanted, I requested a refund. I sent emails and left voicemails to no avail. Eventually, someone replied. They said that I would not receive my refund for 30 days. When the check arrived they deducted 3% PayPal fee and a $25.00 administrative fee. I run a business and use PayPal for processing payments. If I refund my customers payments to them PayPal refunds their fees to me. Also, I refund immediately without putting my customers through this waiting game. I am not sure why they don't have that capability. This is a poorly operated business! I have used Alliance Defensive Driving for 4 out of my 5 kids. It would have been 5 but today changed my mind. Up until today my experience has been great and the service was excellent and the instructors were good.  When our 5th got his permit I called to schedule an appt. They put us on their schedule, which was 6 weeks out. Today was supposed to be his first lesson. At 11:00 pm last night I received a txt that the instructor was ill and I would get a call to reschedule. I decided to call this morning and was told that they had no spots this week and that they could do next week. We will be out of town next week for vacation. She didn't know what she could offer me beyond next week. I then suggested that I call another company. She asked if I would like a refund. I said yes and then was informed that there would be a 25 processing fee and 3% PayPal charge.  I guess years of loyalty and recommendations don't really matter.  They are clearly overbooked and understaffed. I have two boys who have gone through the Alliance Driving School program. They make it super easy to sign up and start the online program. You get instant results for each chapter so you know how you are doing as you go. The Driving Instructors are very calm and professional. They give detailed feedback about how your child performed during each 2 hour driving lesson. Alliance knows exactly what paperwork is required and provides it promptly. we had Elmer, and he is the best, My daughter passed her test with flying colors, He took her to the DMV and helped her pass the driving test, she used his car to test in,  My nephew also used Elmer, really prepared them to freeway drive safely. I had a good experience with alliance defensive driving school, my teachers were dayana and sonya they both were great but sonya went out of her way to make me comfortable she was very patient and gentle and the office manager Melissa was very nice and kind with me I highly recommend alliance defensive driving school to anyone who is looking for a good and skilled driving teachers. I used Alliance for two of my kids.  The instructors were very professional and knowledgeable.  Their rate is reasonable.  Both of my kids passed the behind-the-wheel test on the first try.  Currently my 16 and 18 year olds are taking the class.  I feel confident that they also will pass on their first try.  I highly recommend them. Facebook friends - Kyle just got his drivers license today, thanks to Alliance Defensive Driving. His instructor, Camilo was wonderful, patient and honest. He told us what to work on with Kyle, not only for the test, but forever. Remember the test is only part of learning to drive, after the test they are driving on their own. My son trained with Elmer, who was excellent. He was patient, knowledgeable and took my son on known DMV routes for hours of practice. My son really learned a lot during the lessons and passed his behind the wheel test on the first attempt. Highly recommend Elmer! Read Less

My 16th year old daughter had to do her class and left everything for last minute , Alliance Defensive Driving School and Mr. Cullison, accommodated us during a weekend. Very personable, with deep knowledge of the law, very organized class. My daughter passed her test on the first try, and I know we ow it to the great teacher.  He does a mock test and has the knowledge of the requirements.
