Thao is awesome! I was a bit nervouse because of the bad review i read on here, but he turned out to be great. I called him, we set up all the appointments over the phone. Came by, picked up my son and showed him what he needed to. I would call to confirm of course the day of the appointment. I would totally recommend him. He is the cheapest out there too. Hey no fair--they don't even deserve one freak'n star!  Here's where the cheap comes out expensive people.  I purchased their driving school for my son for Christmas on December 12th with an appointment for December 26th at 9am.  I asked for them to send me a confirmation via email.  The person I spoke with (Thao Le?) said he would send it by the end of the day.  Well I checked my email the following day and no invoice.  I called and got voicemail so I left a message.  Tired of waiting I then followed up with an email.  They finally returned my call and it turns out he didn't write down my email address correctly.  That should've clued me in!  They re-sent the confirmation and it was very unprofessional looking.  It says it was sent from John Doe.  REALLY?!  The message apologized and confirmed the appointment for 9am on 12/26.  Well guess what today's the day for the appointment and its now passed 10 and my son is still sitting by the window waiting.  We left messages and emails and NOTHING.  So needless to say, not impressed.  The only thing these guys EXCELLED at was pissing off a customer.  Congrats! I called in for my 6 hr driving thing to get my license since you have to do that when you have your driving permit. You can do this whenever withing the 6 months of training yourself or with your parents whatever. And this one is probably the CHEAPEST 6 hr driving thing. Its divided into 3 with 2 hour sessions but maybe you can negotiate a little deal and do it in one day;) and no nothing sexual you perverts. I had a great time with the instructor, he's a cool Asian guy we had funny moments and even tho he didn't talk much I was just talking and talking we went from Santa Clara all the way to saratoga (I think) and when we were almost there to Saratoga he finally loosened up and I got him to put on the radio station (he didn't want to at first because he thought it could have distracted me from driving) so then the song "we are young" I think that's what its called?? If not t-.- don't make fun of me. anyways we started singing it out loud lol it was great! And then after it was all over we drove up to the front of my house where he picked me up (picks you up for sessions!!! FANTASTIC) and he shoke my hand and said "juan, one day your going to be very succesfull, just don't do bad things. Stay in school too it will do nothing but good for you" he said more things but that's all I can remember but anyways that made me feel good as a person and he's super cool so I recommend this guy for your 6 hour driving for completing the driving permit requirements and after your done he gives you a little certificate and then you take that to the DMV along with your permit and then take the drivers test for your license! I did my entire driver's ed experience from start to finish with Excel. This was a very professional company. I took my Driver's Ed online course with this company. It was very simple and straight forward and SUPER cheap. I got a little confused during the online course and got a little stuck, so I called for help and was greeted very kindly. Everyone was very helpful. I got my pink slip successfully. I've spent hours upon hours online looking for the best deal for my 6 hours behind the wheel. Excel was still the cheapest, and most professional. I had Thao as my driver and he was really nice and very patient with me. Would definitely recomment to all of my friends. Read Less
