I did something very stupid three years ago, and let go my airbrakes. Looking for another driving job without having airbrakes was extremely difficult, so I knew I would have to get my airbrakes back or I wouldn't be able to find another job.I searched several truck driving schools including my old truck driving school, and found that AB Truck Driving School was the cheapest by far. The school was also in between work and my home so it made a perfect location for me to go to school in between my split shift at work. The instructors there are caring, personable, and really want you to succeed. They don't rush you and they really encourage you, and answer any questions you might have. If you want to get your class A, class B, and/or airbrakes I highly recommend AB Truck Driving School!!!!!!! Read Less

This place deserves 0 stars. Steve and the Indian guy doesn't teach you. All they do is put you down and complain to you how come you can't drive a truck. They haven't figured it out that people go to school to learn that's why we can't drive trucks. Anyways there was no structure at this school. Show up between 8 to 12 to practice alley dock, straight back, and parallel park. Students teach themselves. The trucks they use are only 6 speeds. Most trucking companies require you know how to drive a 10 speed. Overall my experience here was a waste of time and money. I was here for over 4 months. They only let you practice on the dmv truck when you get closer to your appointment date. So it's more a crash course. I failed the dmv test twice here. Went to San Jose Trucking School, payed an extra $1,300 to learn how to drive a 10 speed and pass the exam. San Jose trucking school has a Guarantee Pass Policy. You only pay $1,500 over there and never have to pay them another dime if you don't pass the test. You can take it as many times as you like. They also let you use the good dmv truck everyday. Great trucking school. I went here to get my Class A. Very flexible schedule. I could only go there for 2 hours everyday because I also work and they were understanding.*About the School*They give you a packet that tells you everything you need to know to pass your pre-trip inspection for Air Breaks, In-cab, and Outside. Which I thought was very helpful. Especially for the Outside inspection which I thought was the hardest part. They also show you step by step how to do the skills part for the driving test. Like Ally dock, Parallel Parking, and Straight back. They also take you out and give you on the road training (City and Freeway).All in all great trucking school. I highly recommend them. Read Less

Excellent school - No real complaints. They tell you what you need to do/know and expect you to learn and understand it. I received my CDL - Class A license within a month with this school. Teachers are great & very patient. Trucks work very well. Read Less
