Super rude and a scam!!! I called to make an appointment for my brother and they said that they can come and pick him up at  around 11:00 and have him practice before taking him to take his driving test. On the phone they told us it would cost $90, however, when my brother got home they charged us $120. When we asked the instructor why it was $120 he stated that it was because that's what the school texted him. When we called the school to ask why we were charged $120, they stated it was because they brought my brother to practice before his test. When trying to explain to her that we were told it would cost $90 on the phone she told us we were wrong and proceeded to hang up on us. Read Less

Female students beware. I am not sure if he still works here, there is an old asian man instructor named Mr. Rowland who is a predator. I recommended this instructor to my sister because he helped me obtain my license. Had I known he was such a creep, I would of never done so. He made a lot of inappropriate comments, put his hand on her for an inappropriate length of time, even invited her into his home. I am not sure why all the negative reviews. But, I had 2 (yes! Not 1 but 2) kids learned driving from the old Asian dude (as someone calls him. His name is, actually, Roland). He's fine! My 2 kids learned a lot and pass the DMV driving tests w:o any prb ... AND, the 2 hour lesson, only cost me $35 and NOT $60 ... Granted this is guy is old and busy, he would forget this appointments sometime. But, I would call and confirm the day before and everything's all right. Read Less

Don't Ever Come To this driving school why is wasting your precious time and money! This place the instructor Robert got no heart to tech you to drive he just get mad at you and tell you your doing it wrong never positive things and plus he doesn't show how the DMV are looking for that's why I fail my behind the wheel test form the DMV he didn't  prepare me for it because he didn't tell me what to look for and I just when to test the test not knowing anything of the technique to drive anyways if you coming here just beware of wasting your value time you can learn all this on your own and save your money I hate hate this place with passion and Im just giving you a heads up was really going on in this place they got no heart to tech you drive!!! I Have a good experience with this school. I never drive in my entire life so I have learned so much in a week with the instructor's teaching method. I got Lulan or Roland as an instructor his very good & patient with me I passed my driving test because of him. Their rate is the cheapest in San gabriel $30/hour. Worth it! Never ever sign up for this traffic school. Worst Traffic school ever. At least i learned stuff out of them but still bad. I Got this teacher who i could barely understand and he was old. He would frequently pull me over either to grab a House for sale paper, or to go to the restroom OR go and buy food. However, a good thing was he had drew some visual pictures for me to better understand but a picture he drew of the traffic lights was way out of proportion. In my head I was like i have never seen that picture. As well, i found driving one time dangerous. My instructor wanted to pass this one car so he sped up to 60 in the car using his gas pedal on the passenger side which i think is illegal but whatever, to pass this one car and then told me to make a turn which i thought i would certainly lose control of the car and crash. All in all, not worth the money you spend. I would try Viva driving School [which i tried but was never open when i went]]. At the end of the 3rd day, he spent half an hour literally at the office getting more Certification papers, and chatting it up with the front desk lady. I seriously thought that i was being scammed and wanted to ask for my money back but whatever. Summary -- Do not Reccomend going here but if you are trying to find cheap then this is the place. Do. Not. Want.Years ago as a young lad, I used them to get the hours I needed for my drivers license. They assigned me an old Asian guy who always wore huge sunglasses and bragged that he was a former DMV tester and he was the best. Okay cool.The guy would have me pull over and start explaining things with pen and paper. Very slowly. Was he just slow and careful or was he dragging out the time? Hmmm. Then he would do the exact same thing my next lesson. Literally exact. As in, explain the same thing he explained last week. So does that mean I should just give you the same check I gave you last week since you taught me nothing new?He would then have me drive to places and he'd get out and buy a drink. Normally not a problem since I'm still learning how to drive, except he literally took 20 minutes to get his drink. I guess that's not as bad as him FALLING ASLEEP though. That's right, he fell asleep at LEAST 3 times while I was driving. And not just a nod either, but full on eyes closed asleep (is that what the sunglasses are for?).Now this was when I was a spineless teenager and didn't learn to speak up for myself. But if I was in this situation again, you bet I would've fired him on the spot. In the end, I got the hours I needed for my license, but learned almost nothing useful from him. Skip this place. This place was GREAT the instructor, Douglas Ban, is a great person and instructor. He has many stories and jokes that makes the class way more enjoyable. When i first walked in i thought it was gonna be some boring class with a bad english speaking instructor that shows a film for 7.5 hours and a test at the last 30min. But mr.Ban is a real dope guy! the whole class basically felt like 4 hours becuase he made it so enjoyable. He also has a DUI class believe and a AA? i'm not sure. anyways CHEAP, EASY, AND FUN! Ah... traffic school.  Every now and then you can do something careless on the road (like speeding) and if you're unlucky, you get pulled over and written up.  Once this happens you still have to pay the full fine, and you can also opt to go to traffic school to keep that point off your driving record (at least once every 18 months).  Today is traffic school day, but this time around it's for my mom-in-law.  The nice thing about this particular traffic school is they offer classes in Japanese, which is great for mom.  I think it's one of the few, if not only one, as folks came down from all over to attend this session.  This means a long day of class for her, and 9 hours to Yelp around the SGV area for Em and me.    The good thing about this school is that she'll comprehend everything that the teacher is rappin' riddles about.  The bad thing is she'll now critique all of our driving for the next month or so pointing out anything we do to break the traffic code... lol...
