FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I insist that you do not select this school if you are seeking a respectful and honest experience when learning to drive. Online the company states that if you select the 6 hour package they will teach you how to drive around neighborhoods during lesson one, freeway during lesson two, and on a practice course through the dmv on lesson three. After all 6 hours my instructor did not once take me on the freeway, or on the practice test. I called multiple times only to be told the owner was in constant meetings. The receptionist was VERY rude and hung up mid conversation quit a few times. On top of everything when I called off of my phone, no answer, however when I used a friends phone, they answered. I was later told that my instructor did not feel as if I qualified to go onto the freeway, yet at the end of our last lesson he gave me a slip qualifying me. I was also told that there is a statement on the website claiming if the instructor does not feel safe entering the freeway, he is not obligated to take me. After searching the whole website and not being able to find this statement I called the office only to be told they do not have such a statement. A few days later I decided to drive up to the office and get this sorted out, is was 6:00pm and according to their website they close at 8:00pm, however the office was closed when I had arrived. It took a few more calls but the receptionist finally put me through to the owner. Demanding a refund for at least 2 of the days my instructor did not teach what was included, the owner said that the “time has already been put in” so he can’t give me a refund, however he offered one free driving lesson with HIM. I agreed, and later that week I get a confirmation email stating that I am scheduled with the same instructor that I had started with. When trying to switch my instructor I was told he was the only instructor available. Long story short when doing my research and reading the reviews, I assumed this was a driving school that actually cares and strives to teach students to drive, but in reality all they care about is taking your money. If I could give 0 stars I would. After researching driving schools, I found that this was the best priced. I called to book a session for my teenager. First, when they answer their phone, no one identifies themselves as who they are, or who you are speaking with. I spoke with a woman, who said they charge $267 for a 6 hour session. She said I had to go online to book it. I went online and the fee was $285. So I called back and spoke with another woman. I let her know my issue with the pricing and she placed me on hold. I held on for 18 MINUTES. She never even checked on me. So, obviously I hung up and called back. The next women who answered I purposely asked her name, it was Eliza, then she quickly placed me on hold before I could say anything. Then she disconnected the call! At this point, I am done with this company. But I want to let a supervisor know how ridiculous his employees are who answer phones. I called back again, asked the woman's name, this time it was Michelle. I asked to speak with a supervisor. She said, there are no supervisors here. She never even offered any empathy or asked if there was anything she could help me with. I then asked when a supervisor would be there or who I could report and complaint to. She told me to try tomorrow. I asked her supervisor's name, she said Manish. I am so saddened that with this day in age people cannot use proper phone etiquette or customer service skills. I really hope the business owner reads this posts and trains his people properly because he has and will lose a lot of customers as a result of this. Read Less

"When I saved up enough money I looked into driving school. I read the awesome reviews and thought I'd give them a call. I got my first impression from Elysa..(not sure if I spelled it right). She was very sweet, understanding, and knew what she was talking about. She set me up with a schedule and told me what I'd expect and I was all set. My instructor was Don Littlejohn. He is the most patient man I have ever met, and he actually cares. He wants you to succeed and be a safe driver. He was stern, but the good kind of stern. He wanted you to understand what you were doing. I would highly suggest Don as your instructor..Believe it or not..I learned how to drive in 10 hours with no prior experience. Last, but not least, I want to thank Amar Kaur for taking me through my last moments with Local Driving School. She made sure I was brushed up on all the things I learned before I took my DMV test. She was very soft spoken, and kind. I thank her for encouraging me and believing in me."
