First off, I want to point out that, before signing up with this course or paying a dime, I followed the instructions on my citation receipt which said where to look on the DMV website for a licensed online school. Fast Lane IS ON THE DMV site as a licensed school. Secondly, I made sure when I paid my ticket, that I was eligible for traffic school before doing this and paid the extra money to the court on top of my ticket in order to do so. Once I was good to go, I began searching on Groupon. I found this deal on Groupon for $8.99. I paid and went to redeem it on their site (Fast Lane) and found it a little difficult. But just go to your coupon purchases on Groupon and click the link from there. You get a redemption code to apply after registration on Fast Lane before paying. And they send confirmation emails to you immediately, verifying your registration and payment or coupon redemption. They are legit. The course took all of about 3 hours if you are an average reader. There are 3 simple questions after each section and another of one of your personal question/answers to prove it's you. At the end you have your final exam. It was 25 questions and you get 2 tries before you would be kicked out/disqualified. But on the final page there are links to each chapter (open book) so you can go look back if you're stuck. It's easy. I missed a couple and passed on my first try even though I skimmed through a lot of the reading material. Good luck!

I had the same experience as Remy below. I finished the course and got a course completion email. However, months later I found out from insurance and DMV that they never reported electronically that the course was completed. I am having to pay extra in insurance due to this.

I paid my $8.99 to Groupon and an extra $8.95 for the certificate and got kicked off their site this morning October 3, 2016 at around 2:50AM. I got a message saying that they "were not licensed by the California DMV and to return to the DMV Traffic Violator School List and select another school". This after I had spent 6.5 hours on their site. I dumped my cookies, restarted my computer and began to look for another on-line Traffic School.30 minutes later, I get a pop-up on my computer containing the next chapter of the course so I continued, completed the course, took the final exam and passed with flying colors.I have to say that I am very computer literate and first attempted to log-in utilizing 5 different web browsers after I was kicked off of their site; with no luck. With all of the cookies dumped in all 5 browsers, somehow, CHROME was the ONLY BROWSER that produced the POP-UP while SAFARI, OPERA, FIREFOX & VIVALDI were opened but just sat idly by during the POP-UP intrusion.I just want to say that if you are in a hurry to complete your Traffic School requirement, this school may give you a heart attack in the early morning. I theorize that they may have been updating their site and forgot to put a place holder page in their root folder explaining their actions. However, that does not explain why I got the page telling me that the company was not licensed by the California DMV and to return to the DMV Traffic Violator School List and select another school.

I got a traffic ticket in Alameda County in Nor Cal. I found Fast Lane Traffic School through groupon. For only $8.99, I took their online traffic school. TIP#1: Make sure you are eligible for traffic school before signing up!At the comfort of your own home (or during my down time at work in my case), you read through about 10-12 articles talking about traffic rules. At the end of each article, there is a mini test of 3 simple questions each. At the very end, you have 2 chances to take the final test. You must answer at least 18 out of 25 questions correctly to pass. Otherwise, you will have to sign up for traffic school again elsewhere. TIP#2: It is not timed and open book, so if you're unsure of a question, google it!Once you have completed and passed the test, Fast Lane Traffic School will automatically electronically submit your Certificate of Completion to the DMV and Court. They say it takes about 5-7 business days but it only took 4 business days for me when I checked back on the court website!No point on my driving record + no increase in my insurance fees = a happy customer!

Absolute garbage, I completed this course online and the proper paper work was never sent to the appropriate parties, as stated "This "Completion Receipt" is for your records. Do not submit this to any court or DMV office. The proof of your traffic school completion is electronically submitted to the DMV-Court immediately upon successful completion of our course. It is recommended that you keep this receipt for your records for 2 years." This is a complete scam, they did nothing for me.

I completed the online program. Not boring. I actually learned some things that I can use. Price is extremely reasonable. Registering is super easy. Because of my work, school and family schedule...
I completed the online program. Not boring. I actually learned some things that I can use. Price is extremely reasonable. Registering is super easy. Because of my work, school and family schedule, I completed the course with breaks in between, but it is very easy to log out and log back in and start where you left off. You can go back to prior chapters. The mini-tests are easy and the final is not tricky--very straightforward. I was a little hesitant about the "comedy school" aspect, feeling it might be a bit silly, but it was just the opposite--there is a lot of content there as well. The school submits proof to your court. When registering, there is an option to request proof of completion and submission to DMV for an extra fee. I am so glad I did that, because my courthouse had all my records confused and DMV was no help, so I had to provide proof of everything--this really came in handy in my situation. Would highly recommend Fast Lane. Would definitely use them again.

I took the online traffic school it was so easy and there was no timer it took me less than two hours. I would defenitly recommend Fast Lane Traffic School.

First off, I want to point out that, before signing up with this course or paying a dime, I followed the instructions on my citation receipt which said where to look on the DMV website for a licensed online school. Fast Lane IS ON THE DMV site as a licensed school. Secondly, I made sure when I paid my ticket, that I was eligible for traffic school before doing this and paid the extra money to the court on top of my ticket in order to do so. Once I was good to go, I began searching on Groupon. I found this deal on Groupon for $8.99. I paid and went to redeem it on their site (Fast Lane) and found it a little difficult. I completed the online program. Not boring. I actually learned some things that I can use. Price is extremely reasonable. Registering is super easy. Because of my work, school and family schedule, I completed the course with breaks in between, but it is very easy to log out and log back in and start where you left off.
