If there was an option for 0 stars, I would choose it in a heartbeat. Horrible doesn't even begin to describe how unacceptable the service was when I called to make an appointment. Instead of a simple business transaction, Kevin Cruz felt it necessary to reprimand me for my own personal reasons for taking the course so soon before my exam. Although this should not matter, I went on to tell him that I was a US citizen with a permit, studying abroad in Mexico. Despite already having a license in another country he constantly reminded me that I was in the United states and that the rules and regulations were much different. He made it fairly clear that he thought that Mexico did not meet the same standards as the United States. I have never spoken to an individual so racist and unprofessional in my life. I would never recommend this driving school to anybody and believe that he should be out of business! If you don't believe me or the other negative comments, below is a link to the scam website you can find him in. It's the first thing that comes up when you search, "Kevin Cruz Driving School". Below are also some screenshots of what he said to me after talking to him to get his full name before making this review.

as my son was getting his lessons kevin didnt provide the entire 6 hours requred to get a license and was a scam after needing to get contact with him he didnt allow any other lessons as he avoided the phone number he recognize and only answered after I Had to lie to act interested in his drivng school to get a call back he called me back in 5 minutes and was refusing to go to my house and teach my son again and wasnt williing to return my money that i paid for 6 hours of driving as a parent i do not want any one spending 300$ for a 2 hour class and never getting a redial and gives attitude the entire time very rude and is a scam

Kevin, the one that calls or texts back, is definitely rude. He can't seem too hold back his attitude and insulting comments to make you feel dumb.

**NICE GUY & CARES ABOUT TRAINING SAFE, RESPONSIBLE DRIVERS**I hired Kevin to train my 16 year old daughter over a month ago. They've had 2 lessons so far and she loved them. He explained that lesson 1 usually focuses on acclimating to the vehicle, road, and safe driving techniques. Lesson 2 usually focuses on parking. My daughter also had her first freeway drive (I was too nervous to take her). As a parent, I highly recommend Kevin Cruz' driving school. Your kids (including our beautiful daughters) are safe with him. Thank you Kevin. :-)

My wife who happens to be deaf and called Kevin from Drivers Ed in regards to enrolling into his driving school. She called using Purple Communications with a live interpreter and Kevin was extremely rude over the phone. This is definitely not the kind of attitude I should be expecting. I would not recommend my family or friends. We ended up calling a competitor of Kevin's by the name of Frank who accepted her call in a professional manner and enrolled her into his drivers ed.

The instruction and training I received was outstanding. This was my 2nd driving school that I attended. The first one was just a waste of money and time. The instructor kept talking about his family trips he took during the lesson. We just drove in a straight line. This driving school answered all the questions I had about driving and actually taught me something as we drove around everywhere. I KNOW how to drive now.

I am a truck driver for a living and see how bad and on occasion good people can drive on the road. My 2 daughters have gone through this driving school program.They were able to take the program together. During each driving lesson which was 2 hours they drove an hour each and then rotated. They had 6 lessons in all. The times that we all drive together they are very focused. One daughter will drive and talk about what they learned and if their is confusion the other daughter will correct her and talk about what they learned. This is how I know they had very good training. I can also tell by the way they drive. I was surprised by how much the school talked about driving around big rigs. They covered it all ! My girls drive like the good drivers I see out their and I feel safe for them. 5 stars for this Driving School !

I went to the Costa Mesa DMV on friday and took my driving test. I received a perfect 100% score. I could not believe it ! I heard it was very hard to achieve that kind of grade from a DMV examiner. I know I practiced my driving with my parents for many hours and really put effort into it. I have friends who have been in accidents. I think my whole foundation which my Driving Instructor calls it began with him and this diving school. I called this school because I was given the number from a friend who passed their DMV driving test and missed only 3 points. Everything my Instructor covered with me and my parents was very helpful. I drove and he explained and taught me all the right ways to drive. Each lesson was fun. We worked on driving, parking, freeway and what the driving test would be like. I felt like the DMV driving test was so easy after driving with my Instructor. I am now a LICENSED driver like my brother and parents. I am going to have a great Summer.

I signed my daughter up for this Driving School. They came right out to our house to sign my Daughter up ! We were able to pay for each lesson separately $90 for 2 hours. Our Daughter had never driven before and was very nervous. Her instructor Kevin introduced himself and told my Daughter she was going to be just fine. When they came back from the driving lesson, She was so happy ! We had her drive with us and she was so confident and controlled the car great. We really are thankful for this Driving School and her instructor Kevin.

I am a High School Principal in the area. I have a son who needed some driving lessons. I asked my students around school and parents at school functions to see what Driving Schools they were using. I kept hearing about a guy named Kevin ! He actually came to the High School, we met and signed my son up. He is very easy to work with. He explained specifically what my son would learn and be able to show me. I gaged his progress after each lesson and was very surprised how he was able to focus,drive and handle our car ! Kevin was very much the professional type. I am very satisfied with his services and it shows in my sons safe driving. I am glad he impacts all of our teens driving abilities. It is fortunate for us that he is not affected by the TEACHER BUDGET CUTS . I give my Teachers reviews, so I wanted to give Kevin his. GREAT JOB ! keep up the good work teaching our teens for many years to come and I will be sending my daughter your way next.

I just took my driving test and passed ! I am writing this because I am so happy ! I went to this driving school and took lessons. Kevin helped me out and did not abandon me after my first lesson. I accidently broke his mirror off on his car ):.I THOUGHT he was going to be mad ! He just had me pull over and we talked about it and I felt better. He took another mirror out of his trunk and replaced it ! That was pretty funny. He told me I owed him a large STARBUCKS next lesson (:. He had me take the turn many times so I could learn.The next couple of lessons went better and better and I can drive now and I got my license. He told me exactly how much I would miss on my DMV driving test. He knows his stuff, Thanks KEVIN and SORRY about your mirror ! My sister is next for him. I hope he has a super strong seatbelt (:. Call him, he can help you !

Kevin was very patient with our daughter and she said He explained everything in a very easy manner. He explained all about the vehicle she was driving and as she was driving he was coaching her in a very positive way. She was nervous and he calmed her fears and she said she was driving all around the city. She IS a caustious and careful driver and it shows when we drive with her. THANKS KEVIN !

If there was an option for 0 stars, I would choose it in a heartbeat. Horrible doesn't even begin to describe how unacceptable the service was when I called to make an appointment. Instead of a simple business transaction, Kevin Cruz felt it necessary to reprimand me for my own personal reasons for taking the course so soon before my exam. My wife who happens to be deaf and called Kevin from Drivers Ed in regards to enrolling into his driving school. My 2 daughters have gone through this driving school program.They were able to take the program together. During each driving lesson which was 2 hours they drove an hour each and then rotated. I went to the Costa Mesa DMV on friday and took my driving test. I received a perfect 100% score. I could not believe it ! I heard it was very hard to achieve that kind of grade from a DMV examiner. I know I practiced my driving with my parents for many hours and really put effort into it. I have friends who have been in accidents. I think my whole foundation which my Driving Instructor calls it began with him and this diving school. I called this school because I was given the number from a friend who passed their DMV driving test and missed only 3 points. Everything my Instructor covered with me and my parents was very helpful. I drove and he explained and taught me all the right ways to drive. Each lesson was fun. We worked on driving, parking, freeway and what the driving test would be like. I felt like the DMV driving test was so easy after driving with my Instructor. I am now a LICENSED driver like my brother and parents. I am going to have a great Summer.

I am a High School Principal in the area. I have a son who needed some driving lessons. I asked my students around school and parents at school functions to see what Driving Schools they were using. I kept hearing about a guy named Kevin ! He actually came to the High School, we met and signed my son up. He is very easy to work with. Kevin was very patient with our daughter and she said He explained everything in a very easy manner. He explained all about the vehicle she was driving and as she was driving he was coaching her in a very positive way.
