I chose this driving school because I thought I would feel safer and could learn quickly when I, who had zero experience in driving and not 100% fluent in English, was given instructions in my native tongue, Japanese. I was wrong. After the first lesson, I totally lost my confidence. I felt extremely miserable because the instructor made me feel that I could do nothing well. He kept holding the wheel during the lesson. He tried to teach me how to turn left/right at 2 or 4 stop intersections by using a hard-to-understand textbook he gave me and kept telling me what I should do without giving me any time to think and memorize it. He also frequently stopped the car only to open the textbook and tell me I couldn't drive as well as men because I'm female. I complained to him and he blackmailed me that it would take more time and money for me to learn if I complain and not follow his advices. At the end of the two-hour lesson, I was totally pissed off and found I didn't even understand the differences between 2 stop intersection and 4 stop. But since there are no Japanese-American driving schools but this around Bay Area, I asked the schedule of the next lesson. He told me he didn't know when he'd be available and I needed to email the office to check. So then I emailed and got a message that it'd take three days to be fixed because they arrange next week's schedule on every Monday. Yes. Everything was ridiculous. Of course I quit and moved to another driving school, which was not Japanese-American but actually no problem for me language-wise. Read Less
