I too this driving class and my instructor was a women and I believe it was lily and it was the worst experience ever she made me feel so anxiousl she was rude didn't give me no instructions it was like she expected me to just know everything not even considering it was my very first time being in a car . she had an attitude she would get anxious herself she would talk on the phone while giving me instructions it was awful . I really might consider calling you guys for some type a refund or something because after talking with others I should have not experienced that I gave you guys a good amount of money and did not learn a thing because my instructor was the worst . I had the best experience at this driving school! The owner is really kind and made me feel really confortable while I was learning. I had never driven before so I was scared at the beginning, but she gave me very clear instructions and make me feel confident while taking my DMV exam. I am really glad I chose 5 Star Driving School and I totally recommend it. Read Less

five star more like one one star. my instructor Lilly was very rude, had an attitude for NO reason, she didn't teach me ANYTHING, and constantly belittled me for the smaller reasons. on my first lesson, this was my first time driving, there was no instructions on turn signals, mirror adjustments, hand signals, breaking, accelerating, the basics you need to know. I didn't receive ant information from her on how to pass my driving test or what to prepare for. they called and rescheduled my 3 rd appointment 2 times both the night before! My instructor name was a women name Lily, and from this experience was terrible. When i first got in the vehicle she wanted to leave immediately, she didn't even explain to me about the mirrors, the singnals or pretty much anything. In reality she was in a rush which killed everything. So it literally took 1:30 second of take off, i explain to her im learning as we go and she just nods and says go. Her attitude was such unnecessary that she complained about anything. She had music playing, she was on the phone and she didn't really teach me anything she stayed quiet with her arms crossed and her sippy cup aside her. When she spoke she spoke in a tone that no one wanta which was pure rudeness. Lilly even told me id fail this and that and im sitting in the vehicle pissed off because she was a horrible instructor. I didn't learn anything from her all she was in a rush and had a nasty attitude for nothing.Overall when you take this instructor(lilly) you better be an experienced driver because she escpects that and she overall makes you feel like crap or your some terrible driver. I just moved here from a different country and wanted to get my CA license. Since I'm a college student, I was on a tight budget and this was one of the cheaper driving schools in the area, which is why I decided to take a first lesson for 2 hours. Lily (the instructor) was extremely rude and impatient, and expected me to know everything already. Instead of spelling things out for me and explaining how things work, she just went ahead and snapped at me for anything I did wrong.  She made a big deal out of everything and made small mistakes seem bigger than they were. This was nerve-wracking while driving and made me stressed out, which is why I kept making more mistakes. She also kept telling me I would fail, and made me feel really under-confident about my driving abilities and about taking my test. I am an experienced driver who has been driving for a few years in my home country, but I shudder to think that if she can make ME feel like this, what would a brand new driver feel? I went back to Lily for a second lesson (budget constraints) and she repeated the same thing. I could only get one appointment for my test, so I'm going to have to rent the car from Lily for it, but if I had known beforehand and if I had time to find another school in my budget, I would not have gone with this instructor.Beware! My wife, who never drove before, signed up for three two-hours courses in streets.  The person over the phone neglected to say that she had to go there first to sign up and sign paperwork.  Anyway, the lady driver comes on time and my wife drives to the driving school office.  Inside, they spend about 25 minutes filling paperwork, and drive for an hour and fifteen minutes.  Then the lady driver asked my wife stop in front of a house, and she asked her to sit in the back seat, because the other student will drive my wife back home.The next day, they drove for one hour and forty minutes, then the next student drove my wife back home.The third day, the driver lady asked my wife to stop by the office.  They walked in.  The lady spent almost 35 minutes talking to her husband (another instructor), and eating chips.  Then again, they drove to the next student's house, and my wife sat in the back seat.All this time wasted in the office was not made up.  And my wife signed up for a total of six driving hours, and she ended up with less than four hours and forty0-five minutes.In addition, the wife said that the driver yells a lot and causes her to stress out a lot.  My advice is to avoid this driving school. Not really learned a lot. Patricia the instructor needs to be a bit more patient and explain things than say "do this, do that" or "What are you doing?". I was making an unprotected left turn and I was looking for a bit of guidance and she just shut up hoping I will make a mistake. Sometimes she will teach you, sometimes she will just shut up and assume you know what you are doing. Duh it is a driving school! What kind of school is it that your instructor doesn't talk and say things like "what are you doing? You need to read the handbook again." I dont know the other instructor but avoid Patricia.
