Great instructors!  Found this school in Groupon and bought the 6 hr behind the wheel.  They made scheduling so easy.  They provided driving reports after each lesson with things to work on.  My daughter was comfortable and safe.  During her first lesson I started to panic about my daughter being in a car with a stranger.  I texted the driver to check in and he provided an update which eased my mind.  She always shares her location so I was watching on the map off and on.    Highly recommend!! We had a fantastic experience with this school, they really helped us out when we were in a bind.  We had used Walter's Driving Academy for our twin boys, and then that company went out of business.  The boys both loved their instructor, Jordan, and so we were bummed to have to try a new place, plus we had to find somewhere that would help us finish out our lessons.I called The Way Driving School and they helped us out with no problem! And the greatest part? Jordan is now working here at The Way Driving School.  My boys both passed their Driver's Test at the DMV last week! Yay!A big thank you to The Way Driving School! I was fine with the driving lessons themselvesThere is an issue in communicating confirmation. When you have an appointment outside of business hours, there is no way of confirming the dates and hours on that day. (And as a working professional, this was all the time for me) There were lessons in the weekends when I thought was noon (and wrote down noon) but was actually 2:30, but because it was not their business hours there was no way to confirm the time other than waiting out.One way is to call for confirmation the day before,*****but another is a suggestion to the business to have the website display the times of appointment for lessons and other services instead of just acting like a receipt Read Less

This place is a good deal through Groupon dollar wise but it can get pretty hectic if you have an issue because they have different locations and each one directs one directs you to another. Luis was a standup guy always looking to be accommodating and understanding even when I had an issue. I guess they are better with teens. Did three 2hr sessions with The Way Driving. First lesson: I changed the time with very short notice so Luis had to arrange me another instructor instead of himself. It was my own fault so I don't blame the sub. instructor for not knowing the area well and had to spend 15min looking for a parking lot to start our session. My drop off location was about 30min drive from pickup point. He asked if I would be confident to drive on the freeway. I had never driven before so I said "No" (of course). He then drove for about 30min(!!!), which was MY lesson time! I just wish someone had advised me beforehand that either I, a total beginner, shouldn't do a different drop-off point (esp. having to drive on the freeway) or had offered/assured me that he would be able to control the car even when I am driving on the freeway (instead of simply asking if I feel comfortable driving on the freeway?! Second lesson: Instructor was late because he went to the wrong address. I texted him 5min after our scheduled time and he replied he was already at my door and it turned out he wasn't even near the street where we live. And he ended the lesson right on time. Third Lesson: Late again for 10min but ended the lesson RIGHT ON TIME (again!). We did the test route as it was the final lesson. Instructor was checking on his phone CONSTANTLY and NOT paying attention to my driving (Seriously, I could feel that he was BORED because I drove well)!!!  I had to ask him a couple of times whether he wanted me to turn left or right after making my stops at the "Stop" signs because he wasn't watching!!! I was told before enrolling into the lessons that it's required (by DMV?) to have a 15min break in between hour-long practiceS and the way they did it was to have the lesson for 1hr45m straight instead of having a break. Sounded fair that they informed you before you paid but the other driving school I practiced with gave me full 2hr lessons. To conclude, instructors were nice and friendly but not very experienced. We first used The Way Driving School with our son two years ago. After the wonderful experience we had the first time, we used them again recently for our daughter. She, like most teens, was very nervous but her instructor Jose was amazing. With his patience he calmed her nerves and  gave her the confidence she needed to become a cautious and safe driver.  After each lesson,  I would drive with her and I saw the difference. We used one of their vehicles yesterday for her behind the wheel test at the DMV. Luis was with us and he was also fantastic! I got to know about The Way Driving school from my friend. I took a two hour practice session just to start with and I found it really helpful! The instructor Jay exactly knew and told what was needed for me to perform better at the test. I also went to my practice test taking their vehicle at San Clemente DMV. I was referred to The Way Driving School from a friend who's daughter used them for her behind the wheel training.  I was VERY impressed with the owner, Luis and his company.  Luis usually answers the phone and was very informative and professional.  He answered all my questions regarding this whole process for my only child, my daughter.  I, being the typical nervous mother, had a lot of questions and Luis answered them all.  I didn't feel rushed or that he was trying to get me off the phone!  We set a date and time for each lesson.  Luis and the other instructor showed up, right on time.  My daughter said she felt very comfortable driving with them and they helped her learn different techniques that I hadn't gone over with her, which was a big plus!  The car they were using was brand new and she liked driving it. The Way Driving School is the way to go for all of the great instruction and confidence that my daughter needed.  I highly recommend them to anyone who has a teen getting ready to go for their Behind the Wheel test at the DMV.  They will even teach your child the driving route the DMV uses in the test!  Who could ever ask for more?  This was by far, the BEST Driving School we could have chosen!!!  Thanks Luis for everything.  Just knowing that my daughter learned so much from your school, puts my mind at ease!!!!
