It's been 2 days since I've taken the class this past weekend and I still smile over it. I read the reviews here, mostly good, some okay, and some bad. Wasn't quite sure what to expect coming into this motorcycle class. My experience is non existent, I've never ridden a motorcycle other than my co-workers honda ruckus for about 5 seconds (it's a moped type vehicle)I'm turning the big 3 - 0 this year and wanted to do something out of the ordinary so I started looking into motorcycle classes. This one had great reviews so I decided to give it a shot.I'm glad I did! All the instructors in the class are great and competent. John was our lecture instructor for both days and he was both informative and hilarious! I love that guy, really enjoyed his teaching style, I felt like I was at the university. It's that legit! The clinical portion or hands on motorcycle training is where you will learn your skills. The first day i was horrible. I thought i was going to fail because my instructors both Dan and Doc were very very tough! It's tough love out there, and if you can't handle it you shouldn't be riding in the first place. I began to see why they were so tough on me (they don't want you to die!) and i'm glad that they were. We did the testing and we all passed with flying colors. There were people of all ages and types, I felt very comfortable being there.I wish I can take the class again for the sake of being with everyone. It's almost a bittersweet once you leave. I miss Saddleback training, and the only thing that I can do for them is to write and praise how great they are.I hope you take this class, keep an open mind, read the material they send you beforehand, and expect to have fun! Please don't let their strictness bend you the wrong way. They are looking out for your safety and for the safety of others. If you don't take motorcycling seriously, it can mean your life or something else's!Thank you Saddleback Rider Training, John, Dan, and Doc for making my experience a memorable one i'll never forget.-Eugene5/5 stars.
