This place is possibly the cheapest driving school in the Los Angeles county and surrounding areas. This school has quite a reputation in the Asian community (that's a good thing). If you're Chinese, Cambodian, etc. most of the instructors here speak multiple Asian languages and can help you out with that. (don't ask for George if you can't speak english). If your English is fine and especially if you're a younger person (teens to twenties) then definitely ask for George! (have you noticed ALL good reviews for this school mention him somewhere? he's the "young guy" some of them mention). He's patient, calm, and pretty fun. He has some pretty interesting stuff to say. He's a good instructor and really good with making the mood not scary (unlike some other instructors.. I have some friends who are scared to schedule their next appointment with their instructor from a different school because their instructor made them very nervous throughout their lesson and now they're scared to drive). and he always buys you boba tea or a drink :D Read Less

My review for tangs driving school is different than the previous 2 posts. I came on here to write a review but now feel like i need to discredit the previous review ( which blatanly obviously looks like a shameless plug for another driving school ) but having only experienced Tangs driving school i can only tell of my experience. I called a bunch of driving schools to recieve quotes for 6 hours behind the wheel and the cheapeast one was Tangs Driving School ( which i find odd that the other comment previous also states it's the most expensive? because i did my homework and called ALOT of driving schools ) I found the price to be the lowest if not matching all the lowest ones and they picked me up which was great. The Driving Instructor they sent out to me was the owner Mr. Tang himself, his english was okay, i asked him if they had any other instructors who spoke english and they sent me out a younger instructor named George. My review and experience is mainly for him since he is the one i carried on my lessons with. He showed up 10 minutes late for our first lesson but he phoned in earlier to let me know he was running late at the DMV. My experience with him was great! he's very entertaining, and made my shaky and frightening experience of learning to drive not so bad. He was very patient with me, and made me laugh alot ( REALLY helped me feel comfortable ). I would recommend this driving school to others, maybe the reviewers below had a bad instructor? i don't know, but with both my instructors i had a very good experience. pros: good price, great service for price, and easy to schedule appointments cons: sometimes late or tardy for lessons ( which they make up for or take out of the price ) Oh yeah! i was also referred to this driving school on the recommendation of my aunt, and apparently within the asian commuity "Mr. Tang" is a very "popular driving coach" as she would say.
