I highly recommend this driving school! The rates are lower than any other school I could find in the LA area. I took the 6 hour course and also used their car for the actual driving test. Long story short, I passed on the first try!! My instructor was Jorge. I highly recommend him as well. He's always on time and is very flexible with making appointments that work with your schedule. He's very personable and made me feel a lot less nervous than I was. He's great about letting you know what areas need improvement and does the best he can to ensure you pass. I came to Royals in August 2016 for a 2-hour lesson on driving manual transmission in anticipation of a new car I was buying. I had previously taken another 2-hour lesson with a different instructor/school so I felt like I had the fundamentals, but I was certain I wasn't ready to drive. Fortunately, my instructor at Royals had the extreme patience required to sit through all of my awkward start, stops, and stalls. He didn't rush me and really made sure I had it down. I took an actual driving test and Gorge was my driver. He taught me excellently. I couldn't believe that I actually was the one who drove without fear of crashing someone's car. Just 6 hours of driving test and I was good to go. Gorge is just the best. You feel so relaxed around him, he really knows his job. He will teach you all you need to know about driving and how the DMV driving test would look like. I just love him. DON'T forget he is also lively and jovial. Initially I was with a different driving school where I struggled to get much practice and failed my first test. Then I chose Leo as my instructor and guess what, I passed with 0 errors :) This is the first time I'm driving any vehicle and Leo was the best instructor I could have. Also, he has taught me how to drive defensively for the test while showing me the mistakes, so that I can fix for the driving test to pass. He has good hand on training and is helpful all the way. I passed my behind-the-wheel test this morning. Thanks to Leo of Royal Driving School. I commend Leo for being so patient with me. He sees to it that I drive perfectly to pass the driving test. In my 4 hours of driving practice, he always points out my mistakes and how to do it properly. He made sure that I got it perfectly, even if we have to do it so many times. I recommend asking for Jorge. I tried other schools like Ford(overpriced) Jorge was  much more caring and willing to share tips on the little things. We practiced freeway driving and I didn't even have to ask for it. He was very friendly, patient, and recommend a great time of day to take the dmv test. He wants you to pass on your first try. No one has faith in me that I can drive.. So I have to prove them wrong.. Leo is referred to me by a friend.. His very patient and will try to accommodate you whatever schedule you need.. I am a former student, at Royal Driving School, I wont lie when i started driving I was a bit anxious and thought I knew everything when it came to behind the wheel experiance. The instructors were awesome, down to earth and motivational people who strive in making their students succesfull and defensive smart drivers. My intstructors were nice and encouraging individuals who werent afraid to tell me about my mistakes as they say my improvement and experiance grow! I honestly really want to like this driving school and give it a higher rating, but their service is all over the place. Late late late and disorganized. My first test (I have mistaken the date and rescheduled), driver was late, and was given a car I wasn't quite familiar with. For my real test, I wasn't informed about the instructor calling in sick until I called the driving school. I had to call them multiple times to confirm that no one else was available to take me- Great. Angel was a very nice instructor and would highly recommend him. Read Less
