This was my second driving school, after some bad experiences in my previous one.How it went: I initially joined for 6 hour courses but on trainer's insistence i added 12 hours more. He promised that he'll make me a pro driver with these additional 12-15 hours, help me become an expert on freeway as well as parallel parking. I joined morning batch (before noon) to save some bucks.Pros:- the trainer was very attentive.- trainer has good knowledge of thorough driving and he'll keep on passing inputs thorough out. All the way from steering wheel hand position to various types of stop or road signs, etc.- folks at office were very approachable and cooperative.Cons:- I found the trainer to be extremely money minded. I joined for 6 hours because I already had some hands on at my previous school, but the trainer had other plans. He initially was alright with 6 hours of training, he was teaching me well and I was improving well too. I got enough hands on and wanted to go ahead with the test, but the trainer was unnecessarily trying to extend my classes. He said that if I gave him more time then he can make me a much better driver. I kinda liked his way of teaching, so we agreed that if we exceed the training by 12 more hours then he will make me an expert of freeways, parallel parking, canyons, etc.But these 12 hours turned out more of a waste. We went to canyon once, but after 4-6 hours I realized that the trainer was just beating around the bush. He'll take me to a new road everyday just to point me to a new sign. Most of these signs i really knew well coz I studied well with my written test. After a couple of lessons I realized that he's just trying to make money from me and has nothing much to offer. One day, I had to literally push him to take me to a parking lot to do parking maneuvers, which he took but at a 30 mins ride from my place, Wow!As my 8 (out of 12) hours got over, I asked him to get office to book my appointment for test, but he started to make same excuses which he made before after my completions of 6 hours for the previous set of lessons. I was getting none of it this time. I called up office myself, explained them the scenario and got a date booked. Only after revolting, that he took me to freeway on my second last lesson, no parallel parking still.- as much as the trainer was feeding inputs for the thorough driving, I found him poor during slow speed maneuvers. He insisted so much on me taking the turns slower and much slower that I ended up failing the dmv drive test as the examiner cut my marks left and right for taking slow turns, wow! His dodge car has a big engine or sensitive accelerator pedal whatever, so for a new driver you might get a little jerk during start/stop. He was alright with it and never pointed this to me either. Not sure he didn't realize it or purposely never made me realize so that I keep on adding my lessons for him to continue getting paid. Again, the examiner cut my marks during the test, result - I failed due to accumulation of marks due to aforementioned scenarios. The worst part was that the trainer was so much for the money that after me failing the test, the first thing he said to me was that we exceeded the time by 30 minutes so he'll ask office to charge me for these 30 minutes too. I obviously got angry at him (i was already upset with the failure) because office was alright with not charging me, they even called me later on saying that they won't but this trainer guy wanted every cent, lol. I understand that it's a business for the trainer and they have to think about monetary factor, but how much and at what cost? Read Less
