Hi everyone! I'm not usually the type of person who'd speak out in public, nor was I a member of Yelp before this review, but I genuinely felt the necessity to produce this review to emphasize, and I cannot emphasize MORE, Victor's excellent, professional and effective coaching skills and philosophy. I highly recommend anybody who wants to learn to drive to ask for Victor because of the affordable price he offers and most importantly the quality of his teaching and genuine care he expresses for your learning.I am an international student studying at UCLA, currently 18 years old, and was lucky to have Victor as my driving coach. I had never properly driven before until I sought for Victor's coaching. From the moment I stepped into the car for my first lesson, he picked out all the mistakes that I made and told me nicely and directly, even tiny 'unnoticeable' mistakes like "stopping too close to the pedestrian crossing or car in front", "stepping on the brakes too soon/late", "turning the wheel too aggressively"...etc. I was legitimately mind-blown by the progress we had made over a short time period of two hours and I immediately scheduled a second lesson because Victor informs you on EVERYTHING the DMV looks for during a test, ensuring that you are 110% prepared before taking the behind-the-wheel.I get extremely nervous for any test and that cost me two times... I made critical errors on both of my behind-the-wheel attempts. Of course, I was furious and angry at myself, but most significantly, I felt sorry for Victor because I let him down... he worked ridiculously hard to prepare me for the test and yet a loss of concentration for 2 seconds cost me both tests. Victor, on the other hand, was more heart-broken than I was. He was confident in my skills and confident that I would pass, but I didn't. The moment I failed, he patted me on the back and asked if I wanted him to drive me home. He also spent the whole car ride back cheering me up and telling me jokes to let me keep my head up. He genuinely cared about me and he really seemed like a best friend sitting next to me.On my third attempt, I finally passed and Victor was happier than I was! He gave me a high-five and then a hug to congratulate me on my success. If you think about it in terms of business, any driving school coach would benefit from students' failures because more fails = more money; however, Victor has his philosophy and doesn't think that way. Every businessman must have his or her profit budget. I would say that Victor really cherishes the relationship and places that above $$$ and profit. In conclusion, I apologize for this long-winded review but I really cannot be more concise in regards to Victor's lessons. I highly recommend Beverly Hills Driving School for its customer service and professionalism. If Yelp offered more stars, Victor would deserve beyond 5. Thanks Victor! Read Less
