HORRIBLE...AWFUL school!! The trainer showed up LATE to pick up my teen for his 2 hour training and BROUGHT HIM BACK EARLY because he had "another appointment".  It is unsafe for an instructor to be rushing from one point to another. SAFETY is not a priority for this company and CASH ONLY sales are!!! My teen has over 30 hours driving with a parent but these classes are mandatory in order to test at DMV. They are the cheapest driving school for a reason and now we know why. When I called the office to voice my opinion about paying and not getting full lessons, the office manager said,"well, we were late and other school's they molest their drivers." I'm so appalled at the lack of professionalism with this company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with this school!! Read Less

Smiley is such a great instructor! He was very motivating and funny at the same time. He made sure that I stayed confident behind the wheel and that I would not hesitate on my test. Will definitely recommend 7-24 driving to anyone! Great business! Read Less

Just finished my 6 hours of driving. All I can say is that it was a rocking experience! At first I was super nervous being behind the wheel, but Smiley (my instructor) made me feel so comfortable! 10/10 would drive again xp any ways, by the time my 6 hours were done I learned new things I didn't know before, like parking correctly. I even got on the freeway! Super scary, but you know you're safe because you're with an experience instructor (Smiley -even has a cool name). Anyways, I'm going to take my drivers test in a few weeks and I'm super pumped. I highly recommend this school and you get to listen to cool tunes as well and rock out (safely!) Read Less

I took my behind the wheel driver test yesterday. I passed on the first try with the encouragement and help of my driver instructor. She was patient with me and I learned a lot by listen and following the instructions and tips she suggested to me. I highly recommend 7/27 driving school for your driving school experience. I love this driving school :) I took my 6 required hours for DMV in 3 courses all in less than a week, took my license test the following week and passed perfectly fine. I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to get their license also, ask for Claudia she is the best! She teaches you everything you need to know about driving even if it isn't on the behind the wheel test, including freeway driving which I loved. Read Less

My wife and I sent all four of our kids to 7/24 Driving School and we were extremely pleased. The cost was reasonable, and all of the instructors were friendly and excellent teachers. Possibly the best decision I made to learn how to drive. Not only was the price affordable ( $210 for three lessons) but the instructor I had, Claudia, was absolutely wonderful! I remember how nervous I was to start my first lesson but Claudia made it SO comfortable that by my second lesson I felt insanely relaxed and focused when driving. After my third lesson I pretty much felt super confident when it came to driving. My instructor took me through all parts of the valley which made me more familiar with the ins and outs of the streets around here which is extremely helpful. After our lessons, I took my driving test and got my license! Honestly this was all due to the lessons. They helped me out so much and now I fully understand the rules of the road. Overall, I loved the experience and I would like to thank Claudia for being such an amazing instructor and teaching me so much! I highly highly recommend for beginner drivers :) Read Less

I have recommended Jose and 7-24 to another friend whose 18-year-old needs some experienced, behind-the-wheel training. We chose the six-hour course over three days for my daughter. She was offered three different times, which exposed her to different types of traffic. She went on the 118 freeway, private streets, and main arteries. She was offered tips on how to pass the test and a few comments that said, "Well, you would have just failed the test by doing that." The car had the passenger-side brake as well, which was necessary for the teacher to use when a car darted out of a side lane  and cut my daughter off. (That's what she told me anyway!) We also used this school two years ago with my son. He still remembers tips he was taught. If we had a third child to have learn to drive, we would be using this close, affordable school! Read Less

Do not come here!! This place has a unprofessional staff. Not only was the driver instructor late to my appointment but he parked in the middle of the parking lot and expected me to walk to the car. I called him go tell him to meet me at the sidewalk and he got out of the car to tell me to find a new instructor. He wasted my time . Read Less

I actually recommend this place to my younger sister and now I regret doing so. My sister told me that her instructor raised her voice at her several times and was very rude. They shouldn't hire people if they don't have patience... When I called to complain the guy in charge was trying to make me feel like I was wrong and tried defending the brunette lady who was Hispanic, short and tan... Great find! I took a lessons with this driving school recently after having an extremely negative experience with another area driving school. Daphne, was my instructor, and she was very friendly and professional. I got a great deal $195 for 6 hours of instruction and I got a good amount of experience on the freeway (2 hours). What I liked best is that she was extremely patient and walked me through the theory behind what I was doing rather than just telling me what to do and expecting me to figure it out. We fell into a little bit of a routine by my third lesson with her giving me minimal guidance toward the end. Its gotten me to think more about my driving and (finally!!) has me confident driving on my own. Both my older brother and my older sister learned to drive w/ the school and I definitely recommend it. Read Less

I took classes for a while with Jose in 2006, but he wasn't very patient with me, hahahaha :PSo, I quit for a while, because i wasn't going to buy a car yet, and then I started again last year with Diana, the Colombian girl. She was so nice and sweet! We talked about everything you can imagine while I was driving around Van Nuys and Burbank. After +/- 25 hours of driving classes, I was ready for my driving test and passed in the first one with 2 errors!  \0/They charged $169 for 6 hours, but the price probably went up with the gas prices. One of the reasons why I am giving four stars is because I didn't like when I had to drive to the next driver student's house and then they drove me to my bus stop. That made me miss the bus and wait a long time for the next one! And, even though I really enjoyed the classes that I took, I wish they had challenged me more and taught me to park in reverse and parallel. Read Less
