John was an incredible teacher ! very patient and told me great stories ! driving for me has been something that caused so much anxiety and fear ! but today after my 10 hr course with John i passed my drivers test!!! I've read some pretty tough reviews here for John. However, my experience, having gone through his driving lessons with 2 of my teenagers has been nothing but positive. He was referred to me by a friend, who also had her 2 teenagers get driving lessons from him. He was always quick to return my calls, was very accommodating with appointments & always punctual.  My daughter received her lessons from him about 3 years ago & my son just had his third & last driving lesson with him this past week. He offered to pick up my kids right after school (Millikan High School in Long Beach) to start the driving lesson if needed. He even scheduled a driving lesson on a Sunday morning. Both my kids said they felt comfortable with him. He's very straight forward, to the point & here to get the job done and he has done it very well. If he's doing this in a few more years, I'll reach out to to him for my next kid's driving lessons. I wouldn't go to anyone else at this point. It's tough knowing your kid is in the car with a stranger for 2 hours. John is someone I know I can trust. Read Less
