Each lesson he saw a different instructor, and they all did a great job of teaching him and preparing him for his behind the wheel test. He passed first try and were very happy to recommend Guardian. My son had Ruth and Josh as instructors.  Ruth was gentle and confident and gave helpful tips throughout the drive.  Josh was great as well.  They were always on time and asked me if there was anything I wanted them to focus on.  They gave him very helpful tips for the actual drive test.  My son passed his drivers test, only missing 1 point. I've toke 3 classes with Darrel for my driving test. He is very gentle and patient , he will explain things very well and make you feel relax when you drive( as many of us are super stress when you're being watched ) Nicholas toke me to my driving test in Tracy and he actually allowed me to drive on the highway , very out going person friendly and confident in his students.As a result of that I PASS MY TEST , Guardian driving school is really the way you want to go if you need help in driving and taking behind the wheel test.Thank you for all you're help, you guys are the best!!!! Two words: loved it. Guardian goes extensively through all the material you need not only just to pass the test, but to become a good driver. What made the 7 hour day classes bearable was mainly the teacher. Nick Zimmer was a phenomenal guy and an excellent teacher. He was energetic enough to make it interesting but not overwhelmingly so. A very relatable, fun guy and a lot of good stories. Of course that changes if you are a jerk to him but that's just common sense. Anyway, I recommend Guardian to ANYONE looking at drivers ed. I took behind-the-wheel driving lessons under the direction of Rose. She's a super sweet lady and very informative! She doesn't make the driving experience awkward whatsoever, and is patient to any questions that you may have about driving in general (however annoying they may be). The one big complaint I do have about the lessons is that I should get what I paid for. Each lesson is about 10-15 minutes cut short, whether it's because she's late 5 minutes or that we just end early. It's not worth paying 100 or so dollars for 1 hour and 45 minutes of driving. It's like paying $5 for a 9-inch sub at Subway. Although I love the service of Guardian, I just wished that they would stick to the 2 hour lessons to ensure the 6 hour requirement. That way, I can fully recommend Guardian driving school to others! Read Less

My son lost he's certificate and I emailed them and asked if I could get another one, they emailed me back and said they will drop it off, I was shocked, my experience with companies there are very few these days that would do that. I got home this evening and there it was on the front porch, but it wasn't just that but a DMV application to fill out before we get there tomorrow, to me that is not going the extra mile but really going over that. This school actually TEACHES defensive driving school- rated the best!!: excellent instructors- very knowledgeable-This school is rated the best on Yahoo by former teen and adult students. The school is certified by the National Safety Council to teach defensive driving. The owner is a retired Police Commander from the Livermore Police Department and hires only the best instructors--public safety and school district employees. The instructors have all been certified by the DMV and have extensive credentials-- Plus they are good and patient. Read Less
