SOC Driving School and Travis are absolutely amazing.  Travis got my wife test ready in less than 4 weeks which is absolutely amazing.  Not only did he get her ready for the test, he got her ready for real world driving as well.  She was able to pass the test with flying colors in 5 weeks from the first time I took her out and put her behind the wheel in a parking lot by our house a week before Travis took over, and now she is driving all around by herself on the highway, mountain roads, city roads, and downtown LA roads. My mom (85 years old) passed her driving test today thanks to Ken!  She had failed on her  previous two attempts but the lesson Ken gave her really made the difference.  He identified the things she was doing wrong and patiently coached her during the lesson.  He even met her at the DMV a few hours before her driving test and did a practice run.  He made all the difference in the world and I can't express how grateful we all are that my mom passed  (without Ken I'm not sure she would have)!  I would highly recommend Ken, he went above and beyond the call of duty to help my mom.  He's a great person who genuinely cares, thanks again Ken! I passed my drivers license from the first trial thanks to Sherry. She is extremely supportive, kind, and super chill. She instructs and helps you out until you feel 100% ready. My 91 year old father failed his driving test.  I contacted SOC, and asked them for someone specializing in senior citizens.Ken assigned himself, because that is his specialty.  We agreed on a two hours package.  Ken came to our house, and drove with my father to the DMV, and took my father on the same route that DMV instructors do.When they came back, I asked my father how it was, and my very hard to please father said that it was excellent.Because my father did not use the entire two hours, Ken volunteered to meet us the next day, and half hour before the test to do one more rehearsal run.  I observed that Ken was knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, polite and assertive.My father passed his test!  Thank you Ken and SOC! My daughter's instructor was Adam, she raved about how amazing he was. He was very patient and provided great instruction. Since he received her permit she has been driving when we in the car together, and she was very competent but struggled with parking and backing up. We mentioned this to Adam and after her next lesson, she was able to parallel park- Adam had taught her visual cues that I wasn't aware of and she nailed it! Adam is very accommodating- at different lessons he picked her up at our house and at her school, and even dropped her off after a lesson in a neighboring city so she could get to her volunteer job on time. I called and was greeted, and quoted. They did what they said and I passed my test easily. I was worried and stressed before hiring them. They picked me up (on time). Dropped me off with no fuss. But the reason I'd recommend them is they were professional and kind and very,very,very patient with me. Initially, I was very intimated about driving but my instructor Adam was very patient with me. He's amazing! He helped me build my confidence and would always encourage me with positive feedback. Fabulous - really ....as good as it gets! Adam was entrusted with a driver who had driven out of country but never in OC, which as we all know, is an entirely different undertaking! I did my homework before selecting a driving school and SOC Driving School was the perfect decision. Adam was patient and 100% accommodating with a one-week turnaround schedule, mostly 7am starts, was willing to break-out the lessons to fit the schedule and instilled the confidence needed for the driver to pass her test in Costa Mesa on the first attempt.  We were even able to book Adam and his car for the day of exam - which was well worth doing. After 6 hours behind the wheel, my instructor told me to make an appointment for the driving test and guess what??? I passed my driving test today on the first try! My instructor from the SOC Driving School is so nice, fun and friendly. My instructor picked me up on time, took me to the DMV, plus, had all of the paperwork done prior to the test. All I needed to do was concentrate on the driving and follow exactly what I was taught by my SOC instructor. I would like to say thank you to Mr. Khalid, my instructor. I can't say enough great things about the quality of service this school provides. From booking the appointment, to the ease of scheduling the driving sessions, they were accommodating in every aspect. My daughter took her lessons with Adam, who is nothing short of an excellent instructor. She had very limited experience behind the wheel and was full of anxiety before her first lesson. Adam made every effort to make her feel comfortable, while instructing her with heaps of patience. He made me feel comfortable as a parent by providing me with updates after each lesson, as well as taking into consideration my own concerns with my daughter's practice driving. S O C was a lifesaver for me.  I needed someone to teach my son the basics and I don't have the nerves or patience to do it myself so I researched a few driving schools in the area.  S O C offered the most flexibility and best price.  They let you break up the payments and the ease of booking your behind the wheel time was fantastic.  My son really liked his instructor and made him feel at ease behind the wheel.  After his second day of training I decided to let my son drive me to my destination and he did an awesome job....still had a ball of nerves and doubt that will change for a while, but he did great.  The school also offers the vehicle for the DMV test at an additional and affordable price.  I plan on paying this so that my son can use it for his test day.  I would recommend their services for anyone no matter age that needs behind the wheel training.
