Not satisfied at all , a Very Bad experience. They don't even offer a refund , unlike Dunn Rite. They seem way more professional and more like they actually care about customers. I highly recommend that anyone takes their experiences and money to Dunn Rite. I paid for 2 of my kids and totally Regret taking them to Tomco. But have 2 more kids and that includes the 1 that did not really start of finish thier at tomco. That I will be taking to Dunn Rite. Read Less

DO NOT go here! The staff was nice but I didn't learn anything the 4 times that I drove with them. We just drove around for 2 hours and the only thing they ever told me was if I forgot to use my blinker. They didn't even teach me something as simple as what an unprotected turn was. And the final thing that bugged me was that i drove with 2 other kids in the car. Read Less

They act like you owe them something. They Do NOT appreciate customers, or at least races other than White. I have 2 kids I paid in Full and 5 potential kids that I would have took thier but the way they Lie and mistreat customer's is a Horrible thing. They are VERY ungrateful to customers. We made my sons first appointment for Driving and they said in July. We made the appointment a week ago. Seriously over a month later, thats a Joke!I would Seriously consider another driving school that treats thier customers as such, like they are grateful for the Buisness and NOT like we owe them!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!! Don't even give them the lint out of your pocket. Huge waste of money. At sign up we explained to Tom our family dynamic situation and that things are to be done a certain way since we're a blended family. My stepsons father who was suppose to have no say in his drivers education cancelled an appointment. Tom knew he and his wife Bobby were only to speak to me, my wife and stepson during this process. Tom agreed saying "no problem". After the cancellation we talked to Tom and he agreed to waive the cancellation fee. However, my stepson had set up an appointment with Tom for today at 4:30 pm and Bobby denied that appointment claiming she made the appointment and it was for 6:30 pm. Bobby being argumentative and rude with my wife demanded a $25 fee for rescheduling the appointment. After all that and getting off the phone Bobby calls back to say that Tom demanded all my stepsons classes be cancelled until we (me, my wife and stepson) come in to talk to him and pay the fees for the first cancellation as well as the second. I told Bobby that wasn't going to happen and since they're tacking on unnecessary fees for things they were aware of and originally agreed to work with us on and lied about appointment times that we were cancelling my stepsons drivers education program. I requested then demanded a full or partial refund and of course we're not going to get it. TOMCO, stipulates in their contract NO REFUNDS because they have intentions of doing you and your child wrong and taking your hard earned money. This is the second time I've been ripped off by a local small business and frankly seriously not happy. Maybe it would be a good idea for someone to start a class action law suit against TOMCO and run them out of not only the high desert but out of business. Read Less

This is absolutely the worst driving school out there. I took my daughter in for driving lessons and the orientation was okay but the first lesson I already heard from my daughter that the owner (Tom)gave her a offensive nick name using her last name. Later on we scheduled her other appointments at least a month and a half before because of their "busy schedule " but they called us and canceled both of them two days before her appointment. They rescheduled with us but didn't even tell us what days the appointments were and fined us $50 for missed appointments we didn't even know about. We went to go talk to them and toms wife (Bobby) was very rude refusing to cancel the $50 fine and giving us a refund. She started yelling and was extremely rude. We used this place for my son. They refused to pick him up in Oak Hills. We set an appointment with DMV for the day after his birthday to get his driver's license. We had the last appointment with Tomco set for 4 days prior to his DMV appointment at Tomco's request. They called and cancelled the appointment. Rescheduled for 2 days before DMV. On our way to the appointment Tomco called and cancelled because it started to rain. Really? We went and demanded our certificate because there was no more time. The certificate was given and my son was shorted driving time. Beware of this company. They do not stick to their commitments. Read Less

Went in for driving lessons. Instructor was very helpful and informative, he was able to answer all the questions that I had, and I feel like I learned a lot from the session. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Read Less

I wish I could give ZERO STARS.  I signed my son up for driver's ed. When I went into the office to make a payment with the owner he was already arguing with a woman on the phone about her child.  I dismissed that since I had no idea what the woman could have done to provoke him to be speaking about her and her child in that manner.  After my son completed his online driver's education the owner ridiculed my son for not completing if fast enough as my son was having medical issues and was dealing with a lot of medical appointments.  Once my son obtained his driver's permit I called for an appointment to get his permit signed off and now the owner is being rude and aggressive with me.  His next appointment was 2 months out.  My son finally got his permit signed off and had a poor attitude then.  I called to schedule the next appointment which was again months later due to their "busy schedule". The instructor went to my house when it was scheduled to be at the office.  After that appointment my son was upset and withdrawn so I asked him about the appointment and he told me that the instructor spent most of the time typing on a computer while he was driving and was lying on him.  I called the owner so that I can find out how my son had done on his first drive with them.  The owner started out calm then started to yell when I told him that my son does not yell, that he gets quiet when his is upset.  The owner then stated that my son has a MENTAL CONDITION in which he believes that he is always right and that everyone else is wrong.  Then he acknowledged that he has lots of kids with that disorder.  I scheduled another appointment for my son this time for my son to be picked up and no one ever showed up.  I called to schedule another appointment and the owner (TOM) started yelling again and was incredibly rude.  My husband overheard the conversation and asked for the phone and politely asked TOM not to talk to his wife in that manner. He started yelling at my husband so my husband hung up.  TOM called back and apologized to my husband and offered an appointment for 1 week later.  I said I would call to accept that  appointment later when I calmed down. I came in to schedule the appointment. TOM became ridiculously rude and began cussing me. He later made racist comments.  I have done my research with the traffic schools in the High Desert and this place is BY FAR THE WORST.  Who was having a bad day when they gave this guy a license to open a business? Recently I signed up my daughter for drivers education and behind the wheel driving lessons.  My daughter took the online drivers education course and obtained her learners permit.  Her life circumstances changed and she decided to move away from the area to go to school.  She could no longer use his services.  I asked for the refund of the behind the wheel driving lessons only.  He refused to give me anything or even negotiate a partial refund.  He told me he did not care about my circumstances and told me even if my child had died (yes) he would not refund any money.   He was combative and not helpful at all.  I would never recommend this company under any circumstances.  At the business the customer is never right.
