When I arrived in the US , I realized I should learn how to  drive  .. it's a necessity.. Hacienda Driving School was highly recommended  to me by many of my friends .  I am 62 yrs old and I can't believe I am driving with much confidence and even driving in the freeway is a breeze ...Thank you very much Mr. Alfred Tsung for being a very patient  and concerned  instructor ...I wouldn't have been able to pass the test if not for you .. so a big thank you again ... If I can give 0 stars to this driving school I would. This was a bigggg waste of my time, my mom literally could have taught me the EXACT same thing but could've been a little more encouraging about it. First my mom complained because of Alfred's (the instructor) inappropriate behavior and especially his rude comments. Next thing we know he refused to complete our 6 hours that we paid for. He refused to complete the last 2 hours of the training just because he was afraid we would complain again and people wouldn't come to this school, therefore losing money. He got a bad attitude and a VERY short temper, he isn't encouraging at all. When trying to get a certificate for the 4 hours I've completed, he cussed my mom out and told her she was setting a bad example for her kids. Like what, she was defending her kid how's that setting a bad example? So basically we wasted our money and would not recommend this school to anyone (: even my mom would rather have mini panic attacks teaching me than having Alfred do it. Read Less

I just enrolled my daughter with Alfred based off all the good reviews and comments from friends. However, after her second lesson she came home frustrated and in tears because of his rude comments and the way he teaches. We expected him to be patient and encouraging. Maybe it was a bad day, but according to my daughter, the only time he's nice is when he's on his phone. He needs to learn how to express positive reinforcement. I paid money for someone reliable to teach my daughter. I definitely will not be recommending this place or Alfred. Read Less

I had already taught my son the basics for driving, and he took to it pretty naturally. He did say Alfred gave him all the pointers to pass the test... mirrors, hazard light, horn, gauges, and I forgot a couple of the other little extras that he appreciated, and let him feel comfortable each time he drove with him. Thanks to Sir Alfred for making the driving experience very fruitful and productive..I would recommend this driving school because for one, Alfred is professional..Picks me up on time,points out mistakes and tells you the tips in improving those mistakes..You can tell that he really is good in teaching and very well experienced because he  knew every move you make,you will make or youwhether correct or not..He commends you when doing a correct technique which i think is very good for first time drivers like me because that boosts self confidence..On the testing day he will be with you the entire time from registration inside the dmv until the examiner approaches  your car..I have learned everything i needed from him and thank God i passed my behind-the-wheel in my first take! RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! If we can give this guy a zero... We would. My mom took 3 classes from this guy. She said at first he was pleasant. Then the 2nd and 3rd time, shows that he couldn't teach older people(40yrs or older) I would say. He told my mom "u got worse", "I will never teach you again" "u need more class than 3" ... Alfred is an awesome instructor. Very easy to talk to and very professional. Gave me great tips on what to improve on and what to do to be safe when driving. After reading the reviews, i decided to call and make an appointment. I have been driving for a few months but wanted to take lessons for reassurance. He seemes nice and made the appoinent right away. However, I wasnt aware that they took cash or check only so called the morning of my appointment to make sure they took card. He said no and moved my appointment date to a week later (today). I then realized that i had a dentist appointment at the same exact time as my driving appointment so I called to cancel my appointment and was surprised at how much his attitude had changed. RUDE and not helpful at all. I told him i was calling to cancel, he asks for my name, and then proceeds to completely ignore me and begins talking to someone else that was with him in a foreign language. I waited and then i kept saying hello hello. No response. I decided to hang up and call him back because i wanted to make sure that the appointment was cancelled and i didnt want him to drive out for nothing. When he answers i tell him that i wasnt sure if our phone call had cut off but that i just wanted to make sure that he cancelled my appointment. He RUDELY and ANGRILY responds and yells back at me "Yes you told me already!" And he hangs up on me! !! How freakin rude! Im glad i cancelled my appointment and will never be contacting or recommending this place. Dont waste your money here with someone who only cares about your money. This business is ran by one person. I will be seeking a more professional driving school even if i have to pay a little more. My son just took his driving test and barely passed. The dmv instructor was surprised he didn't know things he should have learned from behind wheel training. Things like defroster, backing up, using signal when parking,and a few others!!! Also, Alfred was always late picking him up, stopped for bathroom breaks at gas station while out and would finish his sessions early! It was cheaper than other places but I was not happy with results after making my decision by reading reviews! :-/ be honest people!!! Read Less

I told him that I needed to get my license before the new year and did he deliver. He immediately signed me up for practice days and a DMV appointment. If you want to pass your drive test on the first try, this is the school for you. My instructor was Alfred, he is very experienced and professional.My driving permit was about to expire so, I called them and they scheduled me promptly. He would give pointers on every lesson and tell you what you did wrong. I had about 12 hours of lesson total without any prior behind the wheel practice whàtsoever and with only that, I was ready to take the behind the wheel test. I took It today and passed. Unprofessional and rude instructor - Alpha. Talking on the phone all the time when instructing. Had him instructing for few lessons, 2 hours each time for $60 each lesson. He always ended his lessons early for at least 10-15 mins. Called him about the missing time. He refused to explain or compensate and being rude enough to hang up on me. Read Less
