My driver instructor Martin of Kings Driving School was very helpful and informative. I took 3 driving sessions with him, that were 2 hours each. He is always patient while he was teaching me how to drive and he is really good at teaching people how to drive with safety and precaution. MARTIN was OUTSTANDING!!!!!! Extremely disappointed.  My son's instructor did not take him on the freeway in any of his 3 lessons!  How does this prepare him to navigate around Southern CA.  Mind you, by the time he had his 2nd lesson, he had been on the freeways many times with us.  Second, the instructor refused to take him to the location of where he would be taking the driving exam, saying it would take too long.  This was a lie as I had WAZED it for that time of day and knew that there was ample time for him to get there, drive around for 45 minutes and come home.  VERY disappointed.  My son has his driving test in 2 days.  Hopefully, he will pass despite Kings. Kings Driving School is the best driving school I've been to. I've had three in total and this one was the one. Martin really knew what he was doing and he was so patient and kind. I hadn't driven a car in over a month or two but in one session, I was able to drive right away with no difficulties. He knew exactly how many mistakes I would get and surprisingly that's how many I got wrong. He knows exactly how you drive and he really tries to help you to improve in those flaws! I had failed the driving test before I was recommended to the Kings Driving School. In 3 hours I learned more about the road and gained more ability as a driver than in all the practice I had with friends and family. My instructor Isabella was always on time and patient and made sure I understood Why the rules of the road were that way and what this had to do with my and others safety. She noticed what I was weak on and made me practice this over and over until I was comfortable with it. I passed my driving test with flying colors. After after my wife had taken a 10 hour drivers course ar another driving school in glendale. Who had promised to have new cars, which wasn't true. They only have salvaged cars.  The driving instructors also taught my wife to do things that are totally unnecessary! Their only focus was on barely getting my wife through the driving test. After failing the test we chose to switch schools, and after only 2 driving lessons my wife got retested and passed. King's driving school's main focus is turning their pupils into good drivers. This is the place for learning. I have taken my lessons with Ms. Isabelle, a perfect educator. She is strict because driving is no game, you are responsible not only for yourself, & even for the others. She keeps on mentioning about the safeties & dos & donts. A very patient one,who points out your mistakes and appreciates when you work on that. I usually don't write a bad review. But this one deserves it. The lady who took over a $100 for just one hour and the actual test didn't was rushing from the very beginning. Did most of the driving herself and kept making me nervous by pointing out how I didn't know the details. I've driven in 3 other countries over a span of 15 years. I did a few sessions with Isabelle in the summer after I got my permit and absolutely loved her. She was so patient, but she was still stern when she needed to be. I never felt uncomfortable or under pressure, it was a very good learning environment. Isabelle always tells you why you need to do something, not just that you need to do it, which I appreciated. I passed my license test on my first try and am now often complimented on my driving, even though I've only been driving for a few months. 100% recommend Isabelle. Read Less

Isabella is amazing! She was very helpful and taught me a lot, and only with 6 hours I already feel comfortable driving with my parents. She taught me everything about the driving test and showed me the path of the driving test, taught me everything that they will ask me to do for the test. Martin of Kings Driving School gave my 16YO son 3 behind-the-wheel l lessons the week of July 13, 2015--2 hours per lesson. Comments: 1) Kings came highly recommended by my sons' friends and their parents. 2) I was able to quickly and easily schedule 3 two hour long lessons for my 16 YO son. 3) Kings came to our home each lesson to pick up my son and delivered him back after the lesson. 4a) The Kings Driving School Instructor, Martin, was PHENOMENAL!!!! 4b) Martin was always prompt in arriving at our home; 4b) He was thorough in inspecting the paperwork and ensuring David's documents were in order; 4c) Martin had a calm, patient demeanor and seemed to be a TERRIFIC and OUSTANDING instructor for my son who had never driven a car before. Writing this just hours after passing the license test in Glendale.  I spent 10 hours with Martin and about 10 hours with family and friends learning how to drive and passed the test comfortably.  Martin is strict but very friendly once you get to know him.  He will point out everything you can fix, will show you the general area of the course around Glenoaks and genuinely cares that you become a safe driver.  It is better to learn your mistakes with King's driving school then to do it when you are on the road alone.  Highly recommended! I only took 2 hours of driving lessons here I was scared it wasn't going to be enough but 2 hours was definitely enough to get me to pass my test today! Been driving for 20 years, but just moved to LA and needed to get a california license. So I took the driving test without any classes, and failed miserably. 22 mistakes.... Isabel is awesome. Brought my son here almost 2 years ago per my co-worker's recommendation.  My son took only 6 hours of behind the wheel w/ Isabel & passed his test & got his license after the first try.  My older daughter who had failed the test multiple times, decided to also go to King's to see if they could help her & surely they did. She passed right after a 2 hour behind the wheel lesson w/ a male instructor from King.  This place is wonderful, price is decent, but most importantly, the students enjoy their lessons and the results show. After passing my written test I decided against relying on any family members or friends to teach me how to drive and looked for licensed instructors on-line. I liked Kings' website and their vehicles; called them, and got Isabella. She was patient, even-tempered and professional. I was glad my first two hours of driving was spent under her watchful eyes. After that I practiced on my own with a friend on the weekends. When the road test date drew near I debated whether to just use my mother's car and go on my own but quickly decided that I needed more practice right before the test with a professional instructor, so I called Kings again, made an appointment and got Isabella again.
