We had one-hour driving before the test which made me convenient and ready to go (very stressful as always though) plus my examinator knew Gary and said he is a great guy. I just had to agree! Seriously?  5 stars? Got appointment over the phone. Before I allow my teen go get some driving instructions, wanted to check the office of this business. Arrived to the address shown, could not find the office . Called the office during the work hour as they listed, a rude man picked up and did not like me questioning where the office was or any other question I had. When I try to find a doctor, I make sure they are licensed before I trust them, and why I should take this person's word just because they have 5 star ratings?. I highly recommend Golden Eagle Driving School. My son failed his first driving test and had only 2 days to retake it before his permit expired. They set up his test and Michelle picked my son up 1 hour before his test. She gave him pointers and according to my son, she was really cool. My son passed on his second attempt with the help of Michelle. For $100 they pick you up, give you an hour refresher, allow you to use their vehicle and bring you home. This was a no brainer. Excellent reviews are all correct especially about Michelle. Easy to book, easy to pay using Paypal. Michelle showed up at our house on time and according to my daughter was great. She learned a lot, more than enough to pass the test and she enjoyed her company and sense of humor. I am so grateful for my super friendly and knowledgeable instructors Gary and Michelle from Golden Eagle Driving School!  Although I am 27 years old, I was a beginner driver with very little experience behind the wheel. After 16 hours of driving lessons with both of them I was able to conquer my nerves and pass my driver's test on my first attempt!Scheduling with Golden Eagle was super easy and flexible. Gary and Michelle provide a pick up service which was greatly helpful to me. They always arrived either early or on time for my lesson and we would spend two hours together practicing by my place in Glendale and the surrounding neighborhoods. Once I conquered the basics, Gary and Michelle were able to give me tips on what to learn for the upcoming driving test at the Glendale DMV. I would highly recommend Golden Eagle Driving School to anyone who wants to learn how to drive and pass their DMV test. My instructor is Michelle, and she was incredibly calm, patient and knowledgeable, and always alert to point out any mistakes I made so I will not repeat those in the tests. Thanks to her I was able become comfortable and confident driving around the city, and passed the test on my first try after 14 hours of practice!! The classes are super flexible and easy to arrange, they pick you up and drop you off at home. The lessons are also tailored to your needs, I was a first time adult driver so Michelle made sure I got comfortable with driving before doing the full DMV routes with me. I rented their car to take the DMV test and I highly recommend that. Gary came to pick me up an hour before the test and led me  through the routes again to get myself ready for the test. He also arranged the test date for me, went to the DMV windows with me to register etc, making the whole process incredibly smooth and easy.If you're looking to become learn driving and pass the test, do check them out! I cannot say how much I love this Driving School. I have been to a couple of  driving schools in the past and they never really gave me the confidence to drive, and told me that I was not a good driver so I ended up letting my permit expire. At 28 I realized though I really need to get my Driver's license and felt ready to learn how to drive again. My Driving Instructor was Michelle and she really helped me build my confidence as a driver, which I honestly did not have as I always had a fear of driving, Michelle was very patient and professional when teaching me, and we continued practicing until I became more comfortable driving.  After a few weeks of practicing driving with Michelle I am proud to say that I did pass my Behind the Wheel test this morning and got my license on my first try. Michelle helped me improve as a driver and helped me I will be very thankful and grateful for that.It was also never difficult to get an appointment with them, which I have had issues in the past with driving schools who become overbooked. What I also liked about them was that they were open 7 days of the week so it was not hard to coordinate appointment times with them. They also help prep you for your test and will tell you what you need to do to help you pass your Driving Test, which made me a lot calmer during the Behind the Wheels test. I did the 10 hours classes and it was so worth it. You really do learn a lot and I felt more confident by the end of my lessons. I took my drivers test today, the day after my 10 hour sessions and passed!! I could not have done it without the help of Gary. He helped me the whole time and was very patient. I just passed my driving test today a big thank you to Gary,my instructor who helped me in passing the test.I only learned this driving school from yelp and since this is one of the many driving schools near where I lived and their reviews were pretty much good. I took the chance in enrolling. Initially I took the 6 hrs lesson and after which they assessed me if I needed more,so I did 2 more sessions for the total of 10hrs. As a new driver I needed all the confidence and learning to get ready for the test. I did 4 sessions straight,which is 2 hrs each day,and one session before the day of the test, and 2 hrs right before the test. Yes, it is a big help and I believe it is better to take lessons consecutively as much as possible esp. For new drivers. So I would definitely recommend this school for your driving lessons. I had failed my behind the wheel test on two occasions and was looking for a driving school which will correct all my mistakes and make me pass the test. Having looked at several reviews I found Golden Eagle Driving School in Glendale very promising.  I was extremely fortunate to have Carmen as my instructor. She was awesome, very professional and had the most amazing communication skills.  Carmen's driving instructions were so musical and calming. She had great patience.  After every lesson she spent time to explain road rules, speed limits and how I should improve. Her step by step approach to teach me the necessary skills were exemplary. Driving through intersections, turns and lane changes were thoroughly rehearsed so much so I was very confident in its execution. The manner in which Carmen guided me through my entire driving lessons made me pass my test without a single mistake. I was one of those kids where their parents would be the do it yourself kind of people. They tried to teach me how to drive and getting behind the wheel was an anxiety attack every time for the both of us. So I decided to take professional driving lessons. Golden Eagle Driving School does not disappoint. They are the best if you want to learn and learn well. Teaching the basics is the standard but they go far beyond that to preparing you for driving defensively.
