Their rate is the cheapest I've found, but the owner is extremely unprofessional. He showed up late to two of my three sessions and never showed on the third. Instead of helping learn what to do and what not do to just takes control of wheel and tells you to take your foot off of the gas or break. Completely inappropriate conversation while driving (something about his sister rubbing oils on her...parts and getting cancer or something like that). Horrible school, but you get what you pay for. One of the driving instructors got mad and gave me attitude for my driving when I am obviously there because I didn't know how to drive! I was able to take my drivers Ed classes at this location and glen made the experience very pleasant due to his humor. I took the permit exam and only got 2 wrong so I give them a thumbs up for helping me pass. I then took my behind the wheel classes and they were very flexible with changing the date and time that I wanted my lessons. I only had one problem, one of the instructors would pick me up up to an hour early before my lesson and would cut my driving time short. He wouldn't really talk much and if I did something wrong he'd just say "don't do that". I wanted to know what not to do and how to fix it so I asked questions but he would kinda brush me off or reply with short sentences. My last driving lesson was with glen and he on the other hand did a great job of explaining and showing me what I needed to do. Despite those small problems I am satisfied (: Read Less

CIS is really not all that Bad, the drivers Ed teachers their are great! If it weren't for CIS Drivers School, I might not actually even be driving at all!! Their teaching techniques really help you out! Especially because they make sure you learn it really good, in fact they'll have you repeat that technique until you actually Master it, which in my opinion, is fantastic, not just that, but they will also give you confidence, and help you believe and TRUST yourself, because really if you don't then I don't think anyone will be able to help you! Honestly, and after all it is what it is, it's your experience so you make of it the best, or whatever you want, Lastly, the teachers there have amazing personalities and understand where you come from! Worse driving school to deal business with . Was charge 280$ for 6 hours behind the wheel and in this case sometimes the price is too good to be true compare to other driving schools . I paid and i repeat i paid before every session [2 hours - 100$ , 4 hours - 100$ , and 6 hours - 80$] . There was no contract sign . Long story short your driving lessons are running their errands [Geting breakfast for him as i waited in the car , going to a tire shop , driving alone to follow him while he drop off his motercycle at his house , picking up another student on my time , got pull over by gardena police for driving their car during my lesson with a dui plate and never got any better after that] . The only 1 on 1 lessons i had were my turns and parking . They were never on time to be pick up for my driving lessons and had to call plently of times to see where they were located . Went to party , pull up to the address , and the party was held inside of the driving school ? smh . As my dmv behind the wheel test was coming up i was going to rent a car from this place for 100$ , but was thinking what if i failed i just donate 100$ and i highly refuse to give them anymore of my money . Don't even bother!!! It's cheap ya and that's it! You get what u paid for. They can't even schedule me for a Behind the wheel because ALL their 3 cars are in the shop so I walked out. This is the most reasonable Drivers Training School in my area so I patronized them  despite the poor reviews. Can they practice better customer service Etiquette , "OF COURSE",can they be more professional , "ABSOLUTELY". With that being said this is for the business owner, your establishment services a community that patronizes you so please be mindful of your customers and treat them as you would like to be treated. They are the ones who keep your business afloat, without the community you would not exists. Make sure you thoroughly think about these poor reviews that myself and others read and hear what they are saying. I too wish 0 stars was an option. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DAUGHTERS/SISTERS to this driving school. The owner Glen, is 48 and flirted with me even after finding out that I was around (30 YEARS )younger than he is. I made it obvious that I felt uncomfortable as well. YOU DO NOT GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH. He used the time we were supposed to be out training to run errands to a friends house. He even made a stop to get  lunch which was an immediate RED FLAG as I stayed in the car while he went to go get lunch. He is an old disgusting man , and even after making faces at the stupidity he continued to brag about his life and even tried lying to me about his age, not that it would make a difference, I knew he was much older than my father. This man is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and I do not recommend this "driving school" to anyone. This man NEEDS SERIOUS HELP. He was too comfortable with inviting me to call him and giving me his business card so that I can call him to discuss us hanging out. He asks questions that are too personal and would make anyone feel as though they want to get out of the car as soon as possible. I worried about him possibly trying to force himself in my house and regretted not bringing my pepper spray along with me. THANK GOD I told my father who went up there and got a FULL REFUND. If I could give no stars I would I called last week to obtain some info.  The gentleman answered the phone rudely...almost like he forgot he was at work. And his tone didn't change. Do NOT use this place.  The price may be good....but you get what you pay for. The DMV requires 30 hours of drivers education. There class is on  a Saturday from 9-3. That's it. When asked about hours required by dmv, he stated they have accelerated course. Umm?? How do you put 30 hours of instruction into 6 hrs? I highly doubt the DMV is aware of the "accelerated" course...if they were this place would be shut down or fined. Choose a place that's reputable and will give the necessary info to your soon to be drivers. It may cost more but it's worth it. Read Less

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! We made an appointment with this school far in advance to use their car for my daughters "behind the wheel" test which they charge $100.00.  On the day of her test the school called her in the morning to confirm the time and which DMV she will take her test.  When it came close to her "behind the wheel" test time my daughter called the school to ask when will they arrive to pick her up...she spoke to Glenn who then said that the person who is suppose to pick her up and take her to the DMV called in sick and she will need to reschedule.  According to Glenn they only have two drivers, one, that called in sick and the other is out on the road. He said it with no regard for our time and that it would inconvenience us.  What is very upsetting is that my daughter HAD TO CALL the driving school to find out that they will NOT be coming.  Glenn apologized but in a tone as if HE should be the one to be upset...not us. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! This place is completely unprofessional! To make my long story short as I possibly can...my son went in one sat and paid $50 to take the  drivers Ed course to find there was no Instructor and he was told he could look at a video, I didnt pay $50 for him to teach himself; STRIKE ONE 1. The next day he went  to attend the class at 9am and they were closed, keep in mind the hours are from 8am-8pm; STRIKE 2! The following Monday I attempted to call and I was unable to reach anyone for at least a weak and a half, STRIKE 3! IM ON A WAR PATH NOW. When I finally reached someone I was met with tons of excuses which i didnt want to hear and I eventually asked for a refund and he agreed and said I could come pick the money up the same day, when I arrived the guy wasn't there and my money wasnt there either and no one knew what was going on. How the hell do you run a business with no one knowing whats happening?! I was told to come back the next day, I did, again no refund and asked to come back the next day, I called and again I was given a bunch of BS from someone else that doesnt have any phone etiquette. I asked what was the title of Mark, the guy I had be speaking to and I was told he's the OWNER! Are you kidding me! So the OWNER is being unprofessional and screwing me in regards to my money! I dont think so.  So that was Tues-Thurs, on Friday I show up at 4pm and they were CLOSED! Remember I said the hours were from 8-8. So I show up Sat morning and oh wow, they're open and the instructor is there, but no owner. i pull her to the side tell her my situation and she gets the owner on the phone since he's been ignoring my calls and its seems he has me confused with a different person that's been complaining, I expressed that I have a problem with him and his bad business practices. Again, I was met with a 101 excuses. Dont send your kids here because you will NOT get what you pay for. Did I get my refund? No. Why? Because the Instructor I originally sent him there for convinced me to let him take her class and that he would get everything he needs to take the exam and that after hearing everything that happened to me on top of what she's been dealing with, that this may be her final weekend, who knows.
