3 6-Hour lessons for $195. I had Kim as my instructor. With the lessons I had with him, they were alright. Honestly, I wasn't the best driver (I mean who is when they first start their lessons right?). However, he made quite rude remarks when I was driving, it was very uncomfortable and rude. He would say "OMG" in a way where he sounded he's super done or annoyed with me. He asked me if I know how to count to 3, said "I think you only know how to count to 2.". He made fun about my driving and laughed about it. I feel so bad about my driving and I honestly hated having lessons with him. I didn't look forward to them at all. I learned reverse in last lesson, but it was only for about 5 minutes. Most of the time we just turned, changed lanes, yielded, and stopped in neighborhoods or streets. I didn't learn how to go on the freeway or park... I would only take up this driving school if you're looking for a cheap BTW lessons and also if you're used to people yelling or having you feel bad about yourself. Read Less

I've been coming here ever since I was in high school and they've been assisting me for about 10 years now starting with learning to drive, learning to drive manual, and with all the traffic school I have accumulated. Eric is very genuine and honest and this is the reason why I keep coming back although every time I visit it comes with a nice hefty ticket from the CHP/Police/Sheriffs.I would definitely recommend calling in and sorting most of the things out before you go into the location! I took an online course through a friend recommendation. It was $17 for the 30 hours course. I received my certificate within a week with the DMV application and instructions  for getting my permit. CONTENT OF THE LESSON: They have time monitor to ensure you spend enough minutes per a lesson.It's pretty useful, but there's a lot of reading. Read Less

A very good school. Mr.Chu was very kind and understanding to my novice driving and pointed out my mistakes. Took me out to a drive way and was able to schedule appointments ahead of time that fit your schedule. The experience was also fun as well because while learning to drive he also drove you to many places such as Seal Beach, Long Beach, etc. The cars have dual pedals on the side so you don't have to worry to much about making mistakes because they can correct you and stop you. I drove with Kim, very nice dude.International Driving School is excellent, I just finished my 6 hours of training with them today.  $195 total if you live in their area.  Kim, my instructor, was very informative, an excellent teacher.  The school's cars have dual pedals and brakes so they can stop you if you do anything wrong, which is a plus.Great value, great learning experience, happy driving!! I would really recommend this school to anyone who needs to go to driving school.I found International Driving School by asking a question on an Orange County forum for a cheap but good driving school. I went on their website and saw that it was $210 for 6 hours of driving class in Irvine area and that it's around 10 dollars cheaper in a location closer to Garden Grove. International Driving School is a bargain compared to other schools, especially in Irvine. Eric, my instructor and I believe the owner was super awesome, easy going, and funny. He lets you know what you're doing wrong and really encourages you to fix it before the drivers test. The day after my last class with Eric, I passed the drivers exam! My mother had hard time passing the driving test in US because she got nervous whenever the examiner sits next to her. She took two lessons from the school and the instuctor was very helpful for her to have knowledge and confidence, so she passed the test and has been driving happily ever after.Read Less
