Las Americas has great teachers. I was able to get my license in 2 months thanks to Mia and Aaron. Theyll help you get your learners permit before you start. You will easily learn your pre-trip inspection, air breaks inspection, interior inspection as well as on road driving. My fiancé attended this school his instructor was Mia. She was amazing!!! Took the time to help him learn & understood everything he needed to know for his inspection. He passed his written test the first time he took it & received a perfect score, missing absolutely no questions. He did wait a few weeks to take his behind the wheel cause Mia suggested that he study a bit more, so he agreed with her. He passed his behind the wheel on his first time. He did dedicate a lot of time & studied very hard. But I especially appreciated Mia helping him & he now has his Class A License. Read Less

My husband went to this piece of shit school he paid 2,000 dollars he had to drive 30 minutes every day the instructor named Alex is an asshole he treated my husband like an idiot after my husband not being able to learn anything because this asshole don't even know English to properly train someone who doesn't know Spanish after one month Alex the trainer started charging my husband for he's own training truck gas because the trucks would run out of gas well that wasn't in the contract my husband got tired of being treated like an idiot every day so he stopped going I told him we should sued this place because is a junk yard they're not teaching you the proper way they treat you like shit so you can give up and they can keep your money don't go here is a scam very unprofessional. Worst school ever don't waste your money here the so called "instructor" doesn't pay attention to what your doing and Carlos the instructor is very rude Always on his phone they will talk nice to you at first but once you pay them they will not care from that point on if you pass or not. I've never left a review before but after throwing away all that money, I can't help but wonder how this place hasn't been closed down. This isn't a school it's a junkyard and a scam to get you to pay more and more money. Even the DMV said their policies are shady. They won't even actually book you a DMV appointment with one of their trucks unless "you're ready." Kiss the money goodbye If you think you can get the truck for an hour because that hour of instruction is where they cut you down telling you to buy more training. If you can already drive, they will insist on discouraging you and making you feel like an idiot. The trucks are not worth driving and the appointment didn't exist. Read Less

Las Americas (San Bernardino School) The person that is teaching , is not a certified instructor. They are just a regular person that holds class A license. Holding a class A license does not qualify you as a certified instructor. This should be illegal and against code.You drive a beat up truck that is falling apart. For sure that truck will fail every pre-inspection at the DMV. Plus you do your practice skills test on their uneven, pot-hole dirt lot where there's other trucks and trailers are parked. Read Less

I had a bad experience going through that school. Alex, the owner, promised individual classes and he only concentrated on fixing his old trucks. He has no experience as a teacher and he does not have any certified assistance. This school is not worth any of your time and it is just basically a waste of money trying to learn from this facility. It is better for you to search somewhere else because this is a rip off.
