The school is good, they did what they said they would and i got my class A. For cash students it is a 4 week process which is plenty of time to get down everything you need to pass. The instructors are very knowledgeable, i had Steve for my driving instructor and he was very good and strick.  I also worked with a few other instructors while learning my pre trip inspection and air break test. Just completed my course at asd and i would highly recomend them if your looking for a great school. The instructors here took the time to help me on the parts i was struggling with. tiffany is a great person and very friendly wich helped put me at ease.. eric was the actual instructor who taught me.I failed my first dmv test because i cracked under pressure..lol they scheduled me another dmv appt a week later and asked me to come in and stay fresh on my skills in the meantime. This is a great school to anyone, first timers and experienced. The instructors really work with you and will do their best to help you learn and pass your test, just remember that in the end it's really up to you if you're committed in learning and passing to get your Class A license. The instructor's are friendly, and can assist you to get your permit to full on licensing. For former military you are able to use your GI Bill for tuition cost. HANDS DOWN, the best training/education you will recieve in your lifetime to put you in the middle class for only a few thousand dollars...Now ,my introduction to the company was through CRST as I am one of their students. My first point of contact with ADS was with Andrew who is not only the classroom supervisor but also one of the couple certified DMV examiners on-site. I will give you my brief experience with the names below if you have met someone who I have not named then, I have had limited to zero interaction with them. All in all, ADS is a solid (LEGIT) ass company so here it is...The CEO Kevin Bither is inside his office periodically and at one point I had the opportunity to snag his ear for a moment because I wanted him to know from a customers stand point what my money has purchased in my opinion. Rarely does someone get to see the CEO so I jumped on it  lol...Director of Training is Charlie Di Fiore who you will randomly see at times. His candor and demeanor is great, very personable and approachable. Any questions the guys I will name below cannot answer, ask Charlie but I am more than certain the guys below will know your question. Supervisor & Instructor Andrew Bither has 10+ years of driving /teaching experience to start off with. He also has an innate ability to see through people's inability to learn and does all he can to curtail something special for you. Andrew is a no nonsense type of guy so, if your not invested in this 100%, why even come here he says. I completely agree!Instructor Phill has 10+ years of driving experience to start and a truly awesome personailty (comical & sincere) first off! Phill teaches the hands-on (driving) part of the schooling. Phill really takes his time with you and makes you feel like your not some number at the DMV because  he really wants you to KNOW THE MATERIAL not just learn it. Instructor Jacob Elsdon is a totally down to earth and an awesome instructor with over 10+ years experience of driving and teaching! Jacob will speak to you on a 3rd grade level or college level if you choose to banter with him . Jacob will make sure what he is teaching you fits with your learning style. Veteran Instructor of the yard is John Grey. John has over 40+ years driving these trucks and teaching so any questions or concern with anything to do with trucking, put it to you this way, John is like Google, just ask the dang question lol...Vickie is the Executive Administrator so I will say it again, any issues the above named people cannot answer, 2nd to last stop before seeing the CEO.Yolanda works inside the office and any problems with any paperwork regarding the DMV, school she will go out of her way to help you but realize you are coming to a SCHOOL folks so, come prepared...=============================================So if you are reading this review and are considering going to school for trucking and want your monies worth, ADS is the best hands down! I wish I could give this school 5 stars.  The staff is very friendly, but the trucks and trailers are crap.  If you want a 5 star instructor, ask for Greg.  He is extremely patient and will teach you his years of experience.DMV driving test today.   Been here for 3 hours, but we are just now getting started because the company can't get their insurance and registration paperwork figured out.  Not very professional and highly irritating as my time is wasted. I joined this school about 11 months ago and I paid cash. $1500 for 2 weeks Monday thru Friday. I have to admit I was skeptical that I'd be able to get my cdl in such a short time frame, but 3 days into it I got my permit! The study materials make it easy to learn and as long you study anyone should do fine.  The rest of the time is spent practicing your knowledge test, air brake test, skills test and of course the driving. My class had about 22-25 students most of them were from CRST and only about 4 paid cash like I did. You get one instructor for the permit training and then get broken into smaller groups to learn the rest. My group had 4. Overall the instructors are very helpful but make sure you are vocal if you're having difficulties with a particular subject.  The review previous to mine apparently had a bad experience and gave a really bad review. I don't know what that students experience was like, but mine was great and I recommend this school whenever anyone asks. They have a 98% success rate but of course nothing is guaranteed. I admit it's a lot to take in for 2 weeks but nowhere near impossible. I myself actually failed twice before finally getting it the last time. But in the event of a third fail you'd have to pay an additional $50 for another 3 tries to the DMV. The good part though is ASV will continue to let you use their equipment free of charge.  All the tools are there but if you're not willing to put the work in, you'll end up in the other 2%. I attended ASD in Fontana, Ca taking the four week, 160 hour course through WIA. Throughout the month of training, the instructors continuously reinforced the curriculum and provided encouragement. As with any quality training program, the student is responsible for studying the information provided for the course and putting in the effort to be successful. This school is good for obtaining your commercial license, especially if you're not sure what company to go with. They contracted with 2 companies when I attended, so I chose one & was hired by them before I even attended school, so I knew I had a job when I finished my training. The study guides they gave me helped me to pass my written exam with 100% and the DVD they offer to walk you through the vehicle inspection part is magic. I payed cash for this 2week course and was promised to have as much help as need to get my class A but the way this school is set up is that they have a contract with CRST TRUCKING CO, which means that school passes the CRST prehired students no matter what so if u payed cssh you will be tossed to the dog when it comes DMV TIME, everyone i went to the DMV with failed.
