Just took my behind the wheel test and I got my license! I rate this driving school a 5/5, especially with Ron. I started driving when I was 17 years old, and he helped me fulfill the 6 hour requirement with a breeze. 6 months later, we revisited our lessons; and he taught me the three common routes yet again. Ron helped so much in getting me to familiarize myself with all of the routes. Today was my behind the wheel test, and he accompanied me throughout my test. I contacted Manila Bay Area Driving & Traffic School hoping to schedule a lesson with them, but that did not work out well.  I called on a Saturday morning to hopefully get an appointment the following Friday.  The lady scheduled an appointment on the date I needed, pickup and drop off included.  The day of the appointment, no one showed up to pick me up.  I had to call about 6 times until I finally got an answer.  I told them what was going on, and they said they never had an appointment for me!  Let's note that the lady that picked up was the same lady I called the previous Saturday who scheduled the appointment.  When trying to figure out what was going on, I kept receiving excuses and lies about why there was no appointment for me. Hi Ron,  It was a great experience having a driving lesson with you. I passed my driving test end of July with 4 errors only, amazing.... never expect it. It's all because of you, patiently giving me the instructions and telling me what i was not suppose to do and must to do behind the wheel, and even more teaching me how to hold the wheel in the right way. On the driving test day, i was accompanied by Robert, he is a nice guy too, helping me check in and took 1 round to the test route before check in. I would highly recommend Kuya Ron to absolutely to everyone. Kuya was very nice and patient with me, when Every time I made mistakes, specially to the point I don't pay attention. I highly recommend Manila Bay Area Driving school!!!  They are very thorough and on point. You will pass your driving test!! First, Kuya Robert taught me the basics and they had some handouts for rules and what to expect on the road. Ask for Ron, he is very patient, professional and shows you how to maneuver the vehicle in a way you would understand it best.  They are knowledgeable and puts themselves as if like the examiner so you would feel prepared on the day itself. i went to this driving school for like 2 times before i get my behind-the-wheels test. 1st meeting w/ rob 1 1/2 hour of in-office review for what to do when your already behind the wheels. 2nd hour he let me drive for 45mins or less. made some right turn and left turn near their office. 2nd meeting its the day before i took my test w/ ron he let me drive to the routes that dmv examiner WOULD take you. we drive for 4-5 different routes.and 1 of those routes is the route that the examiner gave to me. 5star for this driving school Read Less

I passed my driving test!!! Rob was my instructor and he was great :) I paid for 3, two hour lessons, and every weekend Rob and I would practice near the Daly City DMV. Rob was very patient and kind and shared many stories during our lessons. He always made me feel safe and secure. I felt very confident on the day of my behind the wheel drive test since Rob made me very familiar with all the driving routes and procedures. I have heard a lot of comments about the extremes of the practical driving test. Some people say it's easy, and some people say it really depends on how nice the instructor is. I took it in stride and enrolled in this driving school to learn where I could possibly fail in the exam so I would avoid the very things that fail most people.I'm Filipino, and the driving in the Philippines is much, much different than in the States. I wanted to be prepared before I tackled the road. I liked how at the first lesson, kuya Robert gave me an overview of the lessons I would take. He gave descriptions of situations on the road, illustrated them with diagrams on paper so I could visualize them, all before we headed out to the streets. I haven't driven for a long time, and I'd be lying if I said I was confident with my driving, but kuya Robert's calm and patient teaching helped me relax on the road and built my confidence and assertiveness as a driver. Shoutout to kuya Eric who subbed in for kuya Robert, too! Candid conversations and driving tips made two hours a breeze for me.Five stars to the secretaries too for helping me schedule lessons and following up my appointments.Overall, they gave me great service and teaching. Excellent service I would highly recommend! I have been driving in Ireland for almost 7years however, driving in the United States and their laws are a lot different, so before taking my driving test I had a one 2hour lesson with Robert. And I am so glad I did! Having someone go through in detail what to expect from the moment you arrive at the DMV, the test and afterwards, was beyond helpful! Worth my money! I had Ron as my instructor and I took about 4 classes. He taught me the basics such as driving around Daly City and taught me how to drive in the freeway. They allow you to use their car for the actual behind the wheel test and accompany you to your appointment. I'd recommend them! Read Less
