Although the instructors are great, the amount of frustration that I have experienced with trying to get lessons scheduled has been unreal. The woman, Caitlin, who schedules for the Costa Mesa office NEVER returns phone calls. I always have to call 2 or three times and leave messages or call the guy who manages the office to get a call back. That is not any way to run a business. You should be returning phones calls within a day at most. Also, one time she called back and told me to call a different office and when I called that office they said I had to call Costa Mesa. Plus she scheduled the instructor for one of the lessons on the the wrong day so I was waiting and no one showed up. In addition, I've had instructors arrive 45 minutes late and had them cancel on me within minutes of my appointment time. I definitely will not use this company when my younger son starts learning to drive. And I will not recommend this company to any of the dozens of friends with teenage children. TRTS - you need to fire the woman in your Costa Mesa office and hire someone who can do the job properly!!

Our experience with Teen Road to Safety was outstanding! They provided us with great resources for our son to prepare for the permit test and then followed up with amazing behind-the-wheel training. Driving Instructor, Jack C., was thorough and insightful about what new drivers need to be safe. Caitlyn in the TRTS office was always very helpful with scheduling our driving appointments. We are impressed and looking forward to taking the advanced driving course they offer in the future. We highly recommend this program!

Thanks to Farris and TRTS, my daughter just passed her test, 1st attempt, with only 2 errors. Great program with such an amazing instructor. Looking forward to enrolling her in their advanced course...

With Dan's help over the last 11 months, we've gone from a driver's permit to a driver's license. What a milestone! I remember when I first called your office. In addition to being a typical nervous parent, my son has other issues, namely ASD, so I'm more wary of this entire process. But you had no reservations whatsoever. Further, you had experience teaching individuals on the spectrum--and you even gave me the names of some moms to talk to. And I did.That's why I knew our son was in capable hands. You made him feel safe, confident and able. So today he sailed through his driving test and emerged from the DMV with his interim driver's license!A very exciting day and a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for everything!

I reviewed many driving schools prior to our first son's driving experience. Additionally, I interviewed several friends regarding their experiences and companies used. Through this process, and very fortunately, we landed on TRTS. This company is excellent in every aspect. The owners are knowledgeable and professional and all of their instructors are extremely experienced, educated, and trustworthy. The skills that our --now two-- sons have learned are extraordinary. And that is just from the classroom and behind-the-wheel training. I highly recommend the Advanced Training class as well-- a great one for the new OR experienced driver.

My daughter loved driving the souped up Mustang first of all and her teacher was an ex-police officer female who related very well to my daughter and really taught her defensive driving techniques. I like that they do not focus on just getting your kid to pass the DMV test but to really learn how to drive and avoid accidents. I highly recommend this school. It's a bit more expensive than the 'down the street driving school' but the lessons learned by my daughter are priceless and gave me some piece of mind when handing her the car keys.

We were referred by some friends of the wonderful service and experience they had with Teen Road to Safety and that all instructors are police officers. We had our daughter sign up for the entire program they offer. The classroom at Rancho Santa Margarita Ford was convienent. She completed the behind the wheel training and also the advanced driving event at Saddleback College. My daughter learned more then I can even imagine and is a very good driver because of the training Teen Road to Safety provided. I highly recommend them to anyone who is ready to drive.

All my sons friends used Teen Road to Safety and when it was time for my son we used them for the on-line drivers ed and the behind the wheel training. Once he completed the courses, I signed him and myself up for the advanced training. That was amazing as even I learned about my vehicle and how to control it. This should be mandatory for everyone. Teen Road to Safety instructors are very knowledgable in the field of rules of the road and vehicle control. I highly recommend them to anyone. My son has been driving on his own and I feel really comfortable that he is not only a safe driver but a very knowledgable driver thanks to Teen Road to Safety.

Things were wonderful for our first lesson. We received wonderful prompt service. However, for the 2nd lesson we had to call 2-4 times before they would return our call. This time, we are experiencing the same issue to receive our last lesson. We are completely frustrated and feel we should NOT have been made to pay the entire fee up front. Beware. They are wonderful in order to receive your initial payment and then ignore you.

It took six months to complete a one day advanced driving course paid for in advance. We where given excuses ranging from facilities that could not be provided, to laptop computers that had been stole...
It took six months to complete a one day advanced driving course paid for in advance. We where given excuses ranging from facilities that could not be provided, to laptop computers that had been stolen. The final straw was that a certificate of completion was not provided upon completion, which they have now agreed to send, but only after being prompted.

Although the instructors are great, the amount of frustration that I have experienced with trying to get lessons scheduled has been unreal. The woman, Caitlin, who schedules for the Costa Mesa office NEVER returns phone calls. Our experience with Teen Road to Safety was outstanding! They provided us with great resources for our son to prepare for the permit test and then followed up with amazing behind-the-wheel training. With Dan's help over the last 11 months, we've gone from a driver's permit to a driver's license. What a milestone! I remember when I first called your office. I reviewed many driving schools prior to our first son's driving experience. Additionally, I interviewed several friends regarding their experiences and companies used. Through this process, and very fortunately, we landed on TRTS. This company is excellent in every aspect. The owners are knowledgeable and professional and all of their instructors are extremely experienced, educated, and trustworthy. The skills that our --now two-- sons have learned are extraordinary. And that is just from the classroom and behind-the-wheel training. I highly recommend the Advanced Training class as well-- a great one for the new OR experienced driver.

My daughter loved driving the souped up Mustang first of all and her teacher was an ex-police officer female who related very well to my daughter and really taught her defensive driving techniques. We were referred by some friends of the wonderful service and experience they had with Teen Road to Safety and that all instructors are police officers.
