Bait and switch.For a minor to get a driver's license in California's, they need classroom instruction to get a permit plus behind the wheel practice. We called and were quoted a price of $125. We enrollled, and attended. It wasn't until after the first day that we were told behind the wheel practice was an ADDITIONAL $250. That's terrible customer service. I went to Ace and I had the best experience. Im a very nervous person and I was scared to drive but they made me feel confident and comfortable with my behind the wheel lessons. I passed my written test on the first try too so I didn't waste any time. The service was always great, every instructor and employee was nice to me. I went to Ace Driving for a month and I got my licence already! The instructors are great because they're really calm and patient, and I get nervous so it helped me a lot. I think that will help other students from panicking too so I recommend Ace Driving School. The money is worth it! Read Less

I was going to give them at least a 4 star rating because so far the driving instructors have been so nice and friendly until this Man who sounds old was very rude on the phone (his name is Moses). He was very sarcastic and not accommodating on the phone at all. This was actually not the first time I spoke to him. I remembered talking to him the first time and I already got the impression that he was rude but I thought I'd give him another chance. My advice to you Moses is that you need to work on your customer service skills especially if your job is to answer the phone. Don't be Rude and Sarcastic! You need to be accommodating when people ask you a question. Be empathetic! To the owner or manager of this location, please counsel your employee with this kind of attitude. Read Less

Chose Ace to enroll my son in driving school. He took the in class Saturday classes and had an amazing experience. He passed his written test on the 1st try.  and when he had his driving classes all his instructors were very professional and on time. Great learning experience. Ace Driving & Traffic School is the place to go if you're looking for quality education at an affordable price! My nephew just turned 16 so he is starting to learn how to drive. When he came home with the school offered program, we laughed when we saw the price of the course. After doing a little bit of searching, we found Ace and they were the cheapest of the 3 places I called. Thanks again for the great experience! I am giving this company one star due to the bad experiences I had throughout my first, and only, driving lesson with them. First of all, you can tell that they care more about squeezing in as many appointments as possible in one day than about giving the best, individual attention to their students. I say this because there was another student in the back seat, and the first part of my lesson consisted of driving him back to his home. A student is nervous enough on their first day with an unfamiliar adult, and having another teen there with you in the back seat only adds more to the nerves. Second, my mom observed before we left that the tires were extremely worn down, which I understand can be pretty unsafe. But the most upsetting thing about my experience was the way my rude instructor, Crystal, treated me the whole time. She was extremely impatient, and had me drive in traffic immediately. Her tone was very rude, and would scold me with any little mistake, rather than politely correcting me. Also, her instructions were against better, safe judgment. If I applied some brakes to turn right on a green light, she would tell me to not brake at all and keep going on the gas. I may not have been very experienced at the time, but I know you're not supposed to make a sharp turn at full speed. When we practiced backing up against a curb, she was extremely irritable when I started slow, and had me use the gas. Her rude scolding made me feel more intimidated, and she still had the audacity to tell me to not be so nervous, because "that's what causes accidents".  Aside from all this rude behavior, she was very unprofessional. She had the radio on the whole time, and would constantly be texting! And if she wasn't texting, she would be looking up directions on her phone. I recall her telling me to turn left at a particular light, and then suddenly shouting "OH NO NO JUST KIDDING it's the next light!" I definitely felt unsafe and a lack of assurance from this instructor. She had me go on the freeway twice, the second time taking me all the way from Corona to Chino Hills to pick up the second student. Again, this is barely my first driving lesson. We finished my lesson at his house, and I had to go in the back seat while this next student drove me home. I am fortunate enough that my mom willingly paid another amount to a different, more professional company. Even she says it's worth losing the money to Ace if it means I'll be in better hands with better instruction. PARENTS BEWARE! So I was told my daughter would be taken no more than 10 to 13 miles from our residence well the instructor shows up with another student driver in the back telling me they're driving 30 miles away to drop her off while my daughter drives on the freeway!! I was extremely shocked and upset that they would put my daughter at risk without even assesing her driving level and waste our time there was no way my daughter whom has never driven a car was going to drive in the fwy!! Hellooooo that's why she's taking classes so she can learn the basics on a SAFE road NOT on the fwy the girl instructor tells me oh but it's safer on the fwy... suuuure girl and I've only been driving all my life... well after her attitude and calling Moses whom wasn't too eagered to accomodate a reschedule I simply canceled luckily no payment had been processed yet however I have a feeling they would have given me a hard time about that with their "no refund clause" sorry this company is unprofessional and almost put my child at risk.
