I was told about this school from a coworker that recently got his class A from there. He spoke highly about it so I decided to give this school a try. I have to say I was very glad that I did. They really make things as easy as possible for you from start to finish. They advise you where to go for your medical checkup and give you a study guide with an App so that you can easily get your permit. Once that's done you go in and start to learn your pretrip inspections on the truck and skills training. You have two excellent trainers, Alex and Ron, that are extremely patient and guide you to attaining your dream of getting your Class A. They also advise on truck driving jobs openings. Golden Pacific is a great place to learn. You can work at your own pace and the instructors really care if you pass or fail. They will give you as much help as you need. What can I say about Golden Pacific Truck Driving School. Well for starters Ron and Alex are awesome. They are very knowledgeable and professional. As well as patient and they take the time to give you one on one training if needed. They are willing to work around your schedule. Ron is there with you every step of the way (from beginning of the class, to the end of your class). And when I say end I mean all the way to your test date. Alex and Ron are really great to work with. They ensure that you feel confident in your abilities. The school's open training area is spacious and both trainers and students work together...making for a pleasant environment. All this at a low cost and a flexible training schedule. The classes are split into 3 groups of am/pm sessions. The downside is the trucks are a bit dated...they've seen better days. Class sizes can get a bit large, which means less time spent behind the wheel. I've found that I've spent a lot of time waiting on my turn to practice my skills.
