Don't forget to bring your permit and glasses, if you wear them. You will be driving the entire time. At first, this really scared me, because I had zero experience being behind the wheel. But baby's got to learn sometime. And don't worry; they have a brake on their side to stop the vehicle whenever necessary. My instructor was very nice and patient. We just drove around my neighborhood and the surrounding area. He even had a checklist of things we had to cover, e.g. hand signals, parking beside a curb. My sessions were two hours apiece, with a few minutes break to rest. Once the lesson was over, he would give feedback on what I had to improve on. (I paid with a check at the end of every lesson.)But it's not enough just to take these lessons, no matter how helpful they are. You also have to practice by yourself (with a licensed driver 25 or older sitting beside you, of course). This, as my instructor explained, helps build confidence. All in all, a good foundation to build your driving skills on and a positive learning experience. Read Less
