Great experience with safety first. I did the 10 hour package and upgraded to the DMV lesson as well. All of the driving instructors I had were great, knowledgeable and friendly. They made sure I knew everything to make me be a safe and confident driver. The office staff was very accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I passed the drivers test and received my license. I would highly recommend enrolling into Safety First Driving School. The staff is really helpful and the teachers focus on what you need to improve on. Most of their students pass the first time they take the test. The top tier teachers are the reason for the high success rate. It is great for new drivers as they educate you thoroughly on all the aspects the DMV looks for during the drivers test. Overall, great place to learn driving. Read Less

I seriously can't say enough about Marla at Safety First Driving School.  I realized that my daughter's permit was going to expire in 3 days, so I called Safety First Driving School, and Marla jumped through an unbelievable amount of hoops and ended up scheduling my daughter's 6 hours of behind the wheel lessons to be completed BEFORE IT EXPIRED (getting the lessons all done in 3 days)!  She called instructors and begged them to give lessons (despite it being the instructor's day off), called other locations, and got it done! This would have been impossible for anyone else anywhere to accomplish.  I was having a horrible day, and the first time I spoke with Marla, I was very rude, but she was so polite, accommodating, and then STILL ended up going WAY out of her way and getting this done for us...despite me being horrible to her the first time I talked with her.  She didn't have to do this - should could have sent me to someplace else - but she did it anyway!This company is the ONLY company to call for drivers education.  I will absolutely send everyone I know to them. Great place for teaching you how to drive! Love what they do and how they take their time doing it. My daughter's instructor was extremely nice and patient, and made her feel very comfortable during her lesson. She was very nervous before she started but after her first lesson she was totally thrilled to continue practicing, and ended up passing her driving test with zero mistakes! The staff are very professional and helpful- every time I call to schedule a lesson the lady is super nice and does her best to give me convenient appointments since my daughter plays sports and her schedule is tight. Horrible experience. Paid thousand of dollars for classes, cancelled a day before because of a holiday and they would charge me $50 for cancellation as their driver came in to the lesson which I cancelled day before. So unorganised and they would charge me for their own mistakes. Moreover when I came to my driving test, they claimed they didn't know it was my test that day. Another failure. And finally I didn't pass my test. Very frustrated with customer service and overcharging. Find a driving school elsewhere. Not worth money and time. Read Less

We used Safety First for our four daughters years ago and were very happy with their service. We signed up our son last year and learned the NEW OWNERS won't honor our $699 premium contact. Zip. Zero. Nada.  They claimed it was a 9-month contract that they extended to 10. Of course, there was no time limit on our contract. Considering small claims court out of principle...This is unbelievable.  They didn't even offer to cut a deal of any kind. Many good options, like AAA. I recently got my driver's license with the help of Safety first driving school. Though I was with three different instructors, I got very important information from all three of them. Amy, John and Bill from safety first driving school guided me well with my driving. Whenever you go for your exam you should be confident enough to take the driving test and Amy helped me a lot in gaining that confidence. great instructors but the business itself is completely terrible. each time i tried making an appt, i had to wait 20 minutes on hold. Also, you can ONLY make appts on the phone which is extremely ineffective for a busy high school student. would not recommend to any of my friends. bad experience Read Less

If it wasn't for driving schools like this I don't know how I would be driving around in my new car today. Unlike learning with your friends or parents, it is a very low stress environment and the instructors (I had lessons with several different ones) are respectful, friendly, and informative. They provide helpful tips and are able to catch errors that others would not. I struggled with learning how to drive for many years - although I got a learner's permit at 18, I didn't get my license until 21 because  having my dad teach me resulted in a lot of anguish and stress. Their rates are a little higher than other schools you could go to, but I highly recommend them. Read Less

Totally unprofessional.. I scheduled an appt and arrived for the lesson just to be told that I didn't have an appt.  I took a lesson the day before my driving test. The rude instructor told me I would never pass but that I'd have better luck next time.  I passed anyhow with only two errors. Read Less
