I got information there I still use to this day. I can't see Lloyd being discriminatory, I never saw it but I digress. Ed can be heavy and a little pissy sometimes but offers good instruction and just wants to send good riders out in to the streets after leaving the course. Don't mind Ed hes harmless. Go and get the instructions you need to become a better rider. It had been over 15 years since I had ridden and I felt much more competent after a refresher at the MSF course.

A lot of great safety info but the two instructors (Lloyd and the Old guy) could do better. First time experiencing racial discrimination. I was constantly failed because of those instructors thought that I would pop wheelies(still don't know how) on the interstate. Which one of them admitted after finally passing me. I never showed any sign of a dangerous rider even to this day. This bias opinion was made base on my ethnicity. While other students who either ran into gates or dropped their motorcycles during the class passed. Thumbs down on customer service but thumbs up on the safety course.

I learned so much in 3 short days! The instruction was well given and the ridercoaches were so patient with me despite my knuckleheaded mistakes! I wholeheartedly recommend anyone thinking about getting a motorcycle to take this course first! I bought my bike first and after this course I know I will need lots of practice on a safe course in order to safely ride my bike that is a bit too heavy and big for me. I am thankful for my instructors lighthearted banter and easy going teaching styles and their realness. I know this course was well worth the money and time! Thank you both!

I recently took the basic rider safety course...
I have NO COMPLAINTS!
My two coaches (Lloyd and Ed) are a couple of old school riders.
"What Does that Mean?" It means that they are OVER QUALIFIED, underpaid, RESPECTABLE PROFESSIONALS with a VAST AMOUNT OF PATIENCE. ( DON'T TEST IT.)
If you show up for class with a chip on your shoulder and a fat head, you are going to have a bad time!
My suggestion for persons looking to take a class with them...
ARRIVE EARLY!
BE RESPECTFUL!
TURN YOUR PHONE TO SILENT DURING CLASS!
If you make a mistake, DO NOT EXPECT TO BE CODDLED. TAKE CRITIQUE LIKE AN ADULT...
KEEP A GOOD MENTAL ATTITUDE! (BE PREPAIRED TO LAUGH AT YOUR MISTAKES.)
PAY ATTENTION! It will save your life!

Before going trough the course I never rode a bike before. I had a one on one private class. It was great, I learn a lot. The coach had a little bit of a temper, but overall great place.

Great course if you're a beginner and have never touched a bike, or have a little bit of experience like me. This course pushed me to perform the slow speed maneuvers, tight turns, u turns, and sharp turns from a stop that I've been shying away from. Had a fun weekend, learned a lot, and looking forward to attending the advance courses in the future.

Great course for anyone. Before signing up I already bought a bike a few months prior and had a few months of riding on my own. But where I lacked in skill was slow speed maneuvers. Tight turns, starting and turning, weaving, and fast stops. The road course or practical exercises started off slow for me as I have already ridden, but if you've never touched a bike before its perfect for you. At the end of the day the last exercise was challenging for me, and the second day there were exercises such as the U-turns (or Figure 8s) in a box that certainly challenged me.
Certainly worth the time and money to take the course. Besides, you could possibly get a discount on your insurance with a completed course. Also, it's more fun to ride with a bunch of people. Its just two days people, take the course.

This course is held by some of the most professional instructors I have ever meet. They are thorough on how to do things, explaining how to be a better rider, and answering any questions you may have. It's worth while for anyone thinking about riding a motorcycle to enroll in one of their courses. These guys are top notch.

Poor experience with instructor and manager at MSF in Little Rock. Not worth the $200. Location is in a bad part of town, bikes are from the 80's and I felt as if I was thrown back into mind-numbing middle school. Just go to the DMV and get an M endorsement for $40.

Lloyd, Red and Angry Ed are really nice guys! The teaching environment is wonderful! They do everything they can to make sure you are a safe rider! I highly recommend the courses offered!

I got information there I still use to this day. I can't see Lloyd being discriminatory, I never saw it but I digress. Ed can be heavy and a little pissy sometimes but offers good instruction and just wants to send good riders out in to the streets after leaving the course. Don't mind Ed hes harmless. A lot of great safety info but the two instructors (Lloyd and the Old guy) could do better. First time experiencing racial discrimination. I learned so much in 3 short days! The instruction was well given and the ridercoaches were so patient with me despite my knuckleheaded mistakes! I wholeheartedly recommend anyone thinking about getting a motorcycle to take this course first! I bought my bike first and after this course I know I will need lots of practice on a safe course in order to safely ride my bike that is a bit too heavy and big for me. My two coaches (Lloyd and Ed) are a couple of old school riders.

Had a fun weekend, learned a lot, and looking forward to attending the advance courses in the future.

They are thorough on how to do things, explaining how to be a better rider, and answering any questions you may have. Poor experience with instructor and manager at MSF in Little Rock. Not worth the $200. Location is in a bad part of town, bikes are from the 80's and I felt as if I was thrown back into mind-numbing middle school. Just go to the DMV and get an M endorsement for $40.
