I wasn't expecting stand up comedy to go with my driving lessons! But that's what I ended up getting. Kathleen is the most experienced driving teacher there, and it shows. She put me at ease, made sure I laughed at myself if I needed to, and made learning how to drive a lot of fun! She was very astute at matching the learning plan to my needs, and I felt comfortable in a variety of settings, freeway, complex traffic, and parking. I took a 10-hour Green Light package to get the road test certificate and actually practice driving safely. I got my certificate on time and was satisfied with the class quality. I am confident to drive on my own now! Following are the few reasons why I would recommend Cantor’s. One, Cantor’s provide the classes at more affordable price. Several other schools that provide the same 10 hour driving classes (ones certified to provide the road test evaluation and certificate) were priced around $600-700, while the Cantor’s was at $475. I almost thought it was too affordable to be true but seeing great reviews on Facebook, Google, Yelp (think Cantor’s was in top 3 for “best driving schools in phoenix”), I decided to go with the Cantor’s. Two, Cantor’s was the only school among the ones I looked up that provides a full pick-up & drop-off service with NO DISTANCE LIMIT. My instructor said he has a student in Surprise, AZ, and do pick-ups and drop-offs just like the students in the valley. I was able to request different pick-up & drop-off spots for weekdays (work) and weekends (home) as well! Most of the schools have distance limits like, “We only pick up within a 10 mile radius” – I personally think this is hilarious since the students are mostly the ones who cannot drive yet. Three, great interaction with the owner Frank and my instructor Boyd. Frank was very flexible to find the instructor that fits my schedule. He offered both female and male instructors. My instructor Boyd gave instructions and corrected my mistakes in a calm manner. He planned the classes accommodating my preferences. For example, I was not ready to go out on a freeway on my first class so he waited until the second class to ask me again, he helped me practice more parking when I requested, etc. I would definitely recommend Cantor's if anyone asks me for a driving school recommendation! Just got my certificate of completion for this driving course from my instructor Kathleen today! She was an immensely wonderful and pleasant driving instructor. She was patient with me, pointed out and critiqued my mistakes, and let me through the process of becoming both a safe and better driver overall. Along with that, she was very kind, humorous, and fun to talk to on our learning sessions, with plenty of stories to share to make the time fly by. I highly highly recommend this company. I was a nervous driver, afraid of everything. My instructor Owen had me feeling confident after the first lesson. He taught me tips and tricks you can't learn from anyone else, things I wouldn't even have thought of. I took four lessons and my evaluation with them. I went from scared and anxious to confident and driving on freeways, busy streets downtown and confidently parallel parking in less than ONE week. I can't say enough good things about this. I recently took a driving class.I have been struggling to drive.I have been scared to drive on busy streets. My instructor was Skip Mcomber.He was very patient and learned lots of good tips.He is a retired officer and he has seen many drivers make mistakes on the road.When I was driving on busy streets,SKip pointed out mistakes that drivers made and some I was able to see them.He thought me the importance of driving safely on the road.While a car can be fun it comes with great responsibility.I learned to be a little more confident on the road.Even though I passed the driving exam there are still lots of things to learn.I am glad that came across this school.I wouldn't  be able to pass my test.God bless the company and instructors!
