Took a two day class. Learned a lot. Like anyone who's ever taken these courses I would have liked more track time, or at least the opportunity to get in a few more laps...Priced per lap. About 3K for the two day course. It is about 1.5K per day, they have 1,2,3, and 4 day classes. A bit pricey but worth it. Good instructors, cars are in excellent condition. The take the "School" part serious, and teach you things you can leave with. Read Less

Time of my life! I took a one day course, and ended up going back twice because I had so much fun. More importantly, I learned. I had already done several HPDE days, but soon realized I wasn't as good as I thought I was. Be prepared to sweat a little if you go in the summer. You'll get frequent breaks to hydrate, bathroom, etc. Instructors are very knowledgeable and talented. The courses aren't cheap, but when you factor in tires, fuel, instructors...tons of other things, it's worth it. I also got to meet and chat with Bob himself. The skills taught at Bondurant saved my life (Looking further ahead, along with avoidance while in ABS braking) when I was able to narrowly avoid a drunk driver running a stop sign, who would have impacted my driver's side door at 60 + mph. He ended up crashing through an apartment complex to my right, going though a block wall and impacting a few trees before coming to a stop against a building (attached photo) more than 75 yards from where I avoided him. Driver was severely injured. I drove home alive and completely unscathed, but shaken from the close call. Thank you Bob, and crew. I owe you all much more than my simple gratitude... Read Less

If you are looking for the best keep looking. Also, if you would enjoy being worked like a slave for 8 hours a day come join in and work here. In 2011 I got paid $8 an hour to bust ass while most others were sitting in the break room eating big lousy burritos. Yeah, it is fun to race(If given the chance) but the price is way too much- it was back then and I imagine it's more today. But, you know, if you enjoy eating Costco cake to celebrate Bob every year then work here. What they need is a heart for all staff and some opportunities fur the people as well. A little driving time doesn't make up for a year and a half of typical bs. Try Miller Park or Laguna Seca for some racing and maybe you will meet some top notch "Instructors" who actually pay attention when they walk through the pits or the garage. Read Less

I did the GPR-4, which is a 4 day class. The first 3 days are spent driving a Driver TA 2.0 (or something really close to that) and the last day is on a Formula Madza car, which is insanely fun! Yes, it is expensive but if you bought a Viper or Hellcat (I believe the Hellcat qualifies) Bondurant gives you $1000 discount, which is really not bad at all. The first day is mostly about concentration, braking, accident avoidance and vision. The next 3 days are on the track. If you are expecting a lot of track time, you'll find that they meet your expectations. I didn't count how many hours of seat time I got per day, but I don't think I ever drove that much even during an open track day. That's really a lot of driving. The instructors are all top notch and they are either racers or have been racers and they do know what they are talking about. Of course, it's all following the Bob Bondurant philosophy on driving but it works. I'll most likely go again and do the advanced road racing class which is even more expensive, but according to other people I know who have done it, that's well worth it. The staff was excellent, the photographer at the event was great too. Overall, something to put on your bucket list if you like riving. Read Less

Bondurant is a Five Star driving school! The Grand Prix Racing 4-day course was exceptional, took an average car guy with average "sport" driving abilities and by the end of day 4, am now able to control a formula 3 car on track at speed, and a brand new Dodge Viper as well! all bonkers cars they have there! They will drill everything into you with eqaul classroom and driving time, accident avoidance training, track time, no limits. Its a great training system that turns results with exceptional outcome in the short time there. The instructor student ratio was 1 per 3 for us, which is great! They were great, very patient and helpful and often entertaining. I may consider going back for an advanced course after I've worked on my driving a season or two. Note: Bondurant treats you like an adult. They won't tell you exactly how they want you to drive, but teach fundamental skills and allow you to explore the absolute limits with a good bit of one on one coaching in every class. Also, in treating you like a grown up, if you push the cars to far past the limit and wad up a hand built Viper, you will be forking out the cash to fix it! Remember, insurance is an optional add on, and your treated like an Adult and are expected to take care of the vehicles within reason and fix what you break. This course is hard core, and expensive, especially if you crash. The faint at heart or tgose on a budget may consider basic classes first. Read Less

I took the 4 day Grand Prix Racing program. Excellent, serious racing preparation. Race theory and car control are taught in the classroom and drilled into you on the track. You perform repetitive exercises to learn heel/toe sifting, emergency race avoidance maneuvers and apex exercises. Official races were held between our group where we had to react correctly to the flags thrown. The instructors are racers and very good, they rate your performance daily. A couple guys brought their personal rides (Ferrari, Aston Martin) and worked a deal to take them on the track, awesome. I stayed at the fantastic Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa, right across the street from the racetrack. My driving skills increased dramatically and it was the best time I've ever had. Highly recommended. Read Less
