I actually called just to check if I could book a last-minute refresher lesson before my driving test. Even though they didn’t have availability to fit me in, the instructor still took the time to speak with me properly and gave me really helpful advice about the test, what to expect on the day, and how to prepare myself. I honestly wasn’t expecting that level of kindness when they had nothing to gain from it. It meant a lot, especially as I was feeling nervous and under pressure. I took a few refresher lessons; Paul is an outstanding instructor! Not only he is punctual and professional, but, crucially, he is also very friendly and considerate. Psychology and rapport matters and Paul has a way of making the pupil feel relaxed, focussed and confident, maintaining the highest of standards for safe and efficient driving. He is really patient and highly perceptive. He is extremely good at transmitting knowledge and makes sure that you are a better driver at the end of every lesson; with Paul progress is really rapid. After using some big named driving schools, spending a fortune and not even getting in the driving seat, i decided to shop around for a small local driving school, I met with Paul as i wanted to put on of our employees through there test, from the start he was very professional and very knowledgeable, my employee felt at ease with him and was soon driving around like a pro. Instead he didn't turn up, left 15 mins notice and a pathetic excuse that 'the car had just come out of the garage and he had other lessons to catch up on'. surely if the car had been in the garage, he would have been able to let me know at least the day before? Was just a good job I hadn't already paid! Read Less
