Geoff was an excellent instructor and provided us all with feedback so we could take him out, alongside Geoff's excellent lessons, and feel confident that we were doing all the right things with him. Geoff gave me the confidence I lacked. I just wanted to say a great big thank you to Geoff, for believing in my ability to drive. At 47 years old and 3 failed tests, I had given up on learning to drive my confidence took a huge knock!!. I had seen Geoff out and about with students on the road while I stood waiting for a bus!! In the cold and rain. It took me 3 attempts to ring Geoff but I never left a message. Then I picked up the courage to ring a forth time and I was so glad I did, nearly a year later with a lot of ups and downs Geoff never gave up on me with helping me to stop having self doubts. I failed four times with a driving instructor when I was a teenager and gave up on driving for good. I thought I was no good and didn't get behind the wheel of a car for seven years. Eventually a colleague and a friend who had learnt with Geoff before persuaded me to give it another try with Geoff as my instructor. After a matter of months I passed FIRST TIME with Geoff. I honestly thought it was never going to happen until Geoff agreed to take me on and teach me properly. You will not find a better, more knowledgable, more patient, and more effective driving instructor in the area in my opinion. Geoff knows his stuff back to front, teaches it well and quickly helps you understand where you're going wrong and how to do it right. He's ethical, honest, approachable and clear in his teaching. It also helps that he happens to be one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of meeting, but that's only an added bonus. His teaching was what got me through my test first time in mere months. If Carlsberg did driving instructors... I recently passed with Geoff after on and off lessons due to moving away. He has always been very accommodating to my all over the place schedule allowing me to fit in lessons when I could. Geoff is very professional, patient and gives you the skills to be a good, safe driver - not just pass the driving test.
