I would say that my experience with Colin hasn't been quite as smooth as I would have hoped. Where Colin in his own terms and conditions states that he will be polite and punctual, I've found him some what lacking in both of these. Though Colin does try to put across a sarcastic sense of humour, one to which I am not devoid of myself, to a learner driver these remarks can eventually feel derogatory, though I have found that Colin will go beyond this and in his more serious critique has made me feel incredibly anxious, especially when it seems that he is getting increasingly angry with me. I have also found him to be not as punctual as he may believe, numerous times has he been late for lessons (sometimes up to 15 minutes), to be fair he has sometimes tried to add this lost time on at the end of a lesson, but not always. I've often found his instruction quite difficult to understand as he can have a tendency of rushing though explanations of manoeuvres, or indeed if I do get something wrong I would feel like his chastisement was belittling. Often at the end of lessons I would have found myself having profusely sweated as my confidence was whittled away and anxiety rose, to which Colin did little to try and subside. On numerous occasions have I tried to talk to Colin about his attitude toward me, to which Colin either ignored what I said or tried to reflect the issue back toward me. Read Less

Colin is an amazing instructor, so patient and caring. He really looks out for the best in every student. Always up for a laugh and always manages to cheer me up. Passed my test with only 2 minors. Thank you so much Colin. Really going to miss lessons with him. Read Less

Passed first time with Colin... must have the patience of a saint to get me to that point!! Very flexible around lessons and test date which he arranged and managed to swap for me a few times till I was ready! Read Less
