Having researched all of the HGV Training facilities in the Wiltshire area I finally decided to go with Sue's Driving School and I have to say I am confident that I made the right choice !
I can't emphasise enough the value of having genuine 1 to 1 instruction from Sue and Simon and the wealth of experience they have between them. The instruction was focused entirely on me, not having to share my time and the cab with other students so progress and my confidence advanced quickly. Just 3 driving sessions and then a 1st time pass on my Class 2 . I have already booked a couple of sessions in the Class 1 and have my test date booked !
This is no sausage factory.....it's quality not quantity that counts and this is 1st class training with people that you will regard as friends by the time your done :-)
Have now passed my Class 1 (first time) after just 2 lessons so it's off to the recruitment agencies now :-)

After years of procrastinating, I finally got off my back-side and actually went for my LGV licence, it was a simple decision do my training with Sue and Simon, as they made me feel very welcome during our first meeting and I left knowing that I would receive proper 1 on 1 training from them. I looked at other training companies but none gave me the personal service I received from Sue and Simon.
With their expert instruction and guidance I have today passed my CPC case studies test, my CPC Module 4 and my practical driving test all in one day. If you are serious about getting this qualification I cannot recommend Sue and Simon enough.

I was very nervous about doing my cat C but needed to in order to be able to drive my horses! Sue and Simon gave me all the confidence needed to not only pass my test, but drive my own lorry by myself...
I was very nervous about doing my cat C but needed to in order to be able to drive my horses! Sue and Simon gave me all the confidence needed to not only pass my test, but drive my own lorry by myself afterwards. They organise the training to fit around you, and to make sure you have enough time to process what you have learned, rather than cramming it in to an intensive course. The one on one teaching style is brilliant, it allows you to get the most out of your day’s training as well as allowing them to tailor the training around your individual needs. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do their license, I enjoyed my training so much that I went straight back to do my b+e, which I also passed today.

Absolutely fantastic training from start to finish! I never thought I would have the confidence to do my Cat C licence, Sue and Simon were very professional and fabulous throughout, they gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed and I PASSED my test first time on Friday!
I would really like to thank you both so much, I couldn’t have done it without you!

Such a wonderful, helpful couple, all aspects of training covered professionally and thoroughly, from start at novice stage to now passing my class 2 today :). I owe Simon & Sue a great gratitude in how they have helped & trained me. I highly recommend them both, also the added joy of good coffee and to top it off meeting Rupert & Teddy. Highly recommended.
Thank you guys, looking forward to my next stage.
Update: Today I passed my C+E thanks to Simon and Sue, just 21 days after my class 2 pass. I Cannot thank them both enough for the support they have given me and the time in training me. Highly recommended if you want 100% professional training one to one. Thank you guys.

Taking my Cat C with Sue and Simon has been an absolute pleasure. They are always welcoming and friendly.
Sue will first take you out in your own car assessing your driving ability, you will then go home with a list of things to improve or learn, i.e. Swindon, get to know it!! Next step was then getting into the lorry, I have never driven a large vehicle before, therefore this was daunting! But with great one to one teaching, coaching, and advice from Sue and Simon this soon disappeared and I grew in confidence.
Sue is also always more than happy for you to ring her with any doubts you may have when learning Swindon and surrounding areas.
Having passed today I can now embark on my career as a paramedic, thank you!!
I would highly recommend Sue’s driving school with quality experienced teaching and patience. Picking Sue’s driving school you know that you will receive top friendly one to one teaching who will support you throughout.

As a driving instructor myself, I had very high expectations of the training I expected when choosing to do my car+trailer (B+E) test. Sue's Driving School managed to exceed my expectations and I will certainly be going back to do my category C and C+E in the near future. Look no further if you want the best quality training with friendly trainers.
I am editing this review only to add that I have now completed my category C and C+E (with no faults on the C+E test - thanks to the excellent level of training). I am certain that you won't find better training anywhere else.

Learning to drive the 18T truck with Sue has been an absolute pleasure. Right from the start Sue and Simon welcomed me into their home. Thank you guys.
First of all Sue will assess your current driving ability and tailor your training accordingly as everyone has different needs. I never felt rushed or out of my depth and Sue was always there gently coaching me through each step. I’m even a much better car driver now after passing my MOD 4 and CAT C (18T) test first time on the 18th May 2017. Now I will begin training for my CAT C+E.
I highly recommend Sue’s driving school and know that you will get first class friendly tuition should you choose to learn with Sue and Simon.

Having researched all of the HGV Training facilities in the Wiltshire area I finally decided to go with Sue's Driving School and I have to say I am confident that I made the right choice !
